Back to building a bushcraft shelter.
This is going to be a long term build I've been looking forward to getting it started so in this episode I get started on the frame and roof the weather is great conditions for buildng si I crack on with it till late at night then the next morning I put up the main tarp just in time before the Rain kicks in thanks to everyone who follows the channel it's really appreciate if you want to see more please follow myself and Roney on Instagram and Facebook links below thanks everyone 😎👍

I was just gonna say just how much you've progressed with the build, quite an elaborate looking structure with plenty of headroom. The Canadian jam knot is worth learning for tightening stuff up, I've yet to try it but looks very useful. You might need more roof supports added because I've found you may get sag when pine needles fall onto the tarp and water collects but overall, the build is looking mint. Put a gutter on the edge the tarp or use that existing low point where its dripping to collect rain water into a container. Cutting down on bringing water in, I wouldn't drink it unless boiled butgood for washing dishes. I bet your mind is racing with ideas for the camp?.. look forward to seeing more, ATB mate.

Was thinking for the rafters you could used the Polly tunnel tape that protects the plastic from rubbing on the metal hoops and fixings 👍

Love watching your channel, had a thought about your drip problem, it's because you're porch is angled down,if you put another piece in front of the long one and curl the plastic like a gutter it will stop the water running under and dripping

Great job. Looks cozy. On the holes on the tarp you should use clear silicone and dab it on each hole it will last longer than tape . Waiting on the next video.

Apologies I've not been commenting on all videos of late.. we're in the process of losing a family member (my nan), she had a stoke 2 weeks ago, been declining since. She's 100 years old, so not much can be done, hospital would only make her more confused (with the dementia).
Could put more, but I don't think I need to.

Camps looking great now fair play mate. Had a bison steak few years back in Glastonbury festival was nice, not sure I’d try zebra.Do you char the end of the posts before you put them into the ground? It prevents them from rotting. ATB 👍🏻

Cracking shelter, Jimmy. Tons of room in there. You could try and just tie the tarp off the front to a couple of trees, like you would with a normal basha. Wrapping the tarp around the log, the water will just flow round to the lowest point underneath the log and start dripping from there.
Loved the live stream with Rooney last night 👍 You both had me in stitches with the banter, at least until Rooney was doing his chainsaw impressions. 🤣😴💤
Enjoy the ballet, mate. It'll be some fat fella singing songs, so not much difference to a weekend away with Rooney. 😚🎶

Jimmy, my brother, I got to hand it to you. I don't think I could try zebra😂 too much like a horse. your gonna have a great shelter. the extra room will make it so comfortable.
