I'm glad we won but if they want to make the playoffs and beat teams like the chiefs and the patriots then there defense has to step up. We are half way through the season so we will see. I'm glad I watched the last four minutes.
The Steelers played as well as they can, given their numerous injuries and inconsistent line play. The back ups played hard; they just didn’t play well enough. Without key players on defense, especially Watt, Tuit, Fitzpatrick, and Hayden, the Steelers couldn’t stop the run or the pass consistently. That places a heavy burden on the offense to outscore opponents, week after week. That is not a formula for success. But even when all of the Steelers are healthy, this is, at best, a mediocre team, as I wrote at the beginning of the season. Though fans and the media are giving Ben and his receivers deserved credit for the gritty come back attempt, the truth is that Ben’s arm isn’t what it once was. He leaves balls short and tends to throw late or behind receivers, even when he has decent protection. He certainly can’t be expected to carry the team at his age, and that means the rest of the 2021 season looks rocky indeed.
The Steelers have a great fanbase and great ownership, 6 Superbowls to the Chargers 0. Yes we have no fan base but the key is the Chargers are on their way to a fanbase if they keep playing good football.
Gonna be honest, Steelers were down by 4 with 4th and 32. They should have taken the safety, get the ball back at the 25, with 1st and 10 and over a minute left on the clock. It still would have been a TD required to win, but with far better field position, and a fresh set of downs. Winnable.

Curious to see how Herbert does this year with both his top wide receivers gone. He does have a new coach though.
ARod: "how can you not be romantic about football"
Herbert: And I take this thing literally!!
The raiders and chargers game was definitely a one for consideration too
As a Steelers fan we did good something to be proud of lol
but you lost?
@@jnrflores14 you win some games you lose some as well you can't win them all
@@jnrflores14 and besides what is your team
@@ledontetaylor1272 a win is a win a loss is a loss and a tie is a tie, no hesitations
Moral victory lmao
As a Steelers fan please, this game hurts 😞
Crazy how every week there was a game of the year
I love it how the commentator sound disappointed that chargers won the game🤪🤪🤪… bolt up⚡️⚡️⚡️
Usually I don't like cheap shots, but the little punch in the gut, "effer, your supposed slide"
Damn Collinsworth is such a Homer its like he wanted my Bolts to loose!!! you a commentator or a fan?
So did it still feel like Heinz Field with 2:09 to go with Mike Williams in the end zone?!
⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ Bolt up!!!!!
Chargers are the only team in the NFL that plays 17 "Road" games....
Did you make that up all by yourself? I've heard that before and? Now what?
@@apex_prowler95 Did you just troll and @ me when I wasn't talking to you?
Troll harder and speak when spoken to.... You are getting butthurt
The Steelers have a great fanbase and great ownership, 6 Superbowls to the Chargers 0.
Yes we have no fan base but the key is the Chargers are on their way to a fanbase if they keep playing good football.
Ben had a good career this his last year
Gonna be honest, Steelers were down by 4 with 4th and 32. They should have taken the safety, get the ball back at the 25, with 1st and 10 and over a minute left on the clock. It still would have been a TD required to win, but with far better field position, and a fresh set of downs. Winnable.
lmao. you realize on a safety they would have had to punt it to the chargers? where they would've just kneeled it........ lol terrible take, bud.
Are we just going to ignore @austinekelar’s blitz pickup on that TD to 81
We’re definitely not gonna ignore it, duggie
Dude with the packers jersey at 8:43 witnesses a beloved game of football.
Now y’all know why Chargers fans cant fill up the stadium. Most of us are in the hospital because of heart attack every week
Actually season ticket holders sold there tickets for ridiculous prices
@cool That's what a lot of fans don't realize. There are thousands of Raiders fans in Los Angeles. More so than in Oakland.
A good game: exists
NFL: GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!
You already know mike t is absolutely flaming them right now
The Steelers are the truth!!!! As u can see they can put up points!!!! The Defense is just Down right now!!!!! Let's go STEELERS DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
Why is nobody talking about how a practice squad D line shut down the Steelers run game? Underrated aspect of an insane game imo
Shut down? They didn't have time to run, needed to make up a lead. Steelers D was playing without TJ Watt, Minkah Fitz, Joe Haden, Stephon Tuitt to name a few
@@quackshop6598 60 yards on the ground isnt being shut down to you? And Chargers didn’t have a big lead until the 3rd quarter so I’m not sure why you think they didn’t have time to run
@@FeatheredAndLethal well you don’t run the ball when you’re down multiple scores
Always this crazy talk from these so -called great teams But no truth
