I've never played a Far Cry game before. Michael Mando as Vaas had me really interested in 3. Giancarlo Esposito as... whoever this mad man is might make me play this, just because it's him. Oh FC 3 is excellent. Still rank as one of my favorite games. The setting and characters is exquisite. Ubisoft has problems, but they tend to do settings and historical fiction very well, so the game environment is very rich.
At first I thought El presidente is only encouraging his son for violence and brutality when he gave that boy a grenade but then it makes very clear that - "If he (the boy) cant hold the grenade (citizens) with discipline , it will bring chaos and destruction to all ". That's why he told his son to hold the grenade and to breathe.

Definitely based on Cuba since it's a country stuck in time and the architecture is that (I went to Cuba last year haha). My first and only FC game I played was the 4th one and I liked it a lot, excited for this one! Releases on February 21st of next year.

Although it doesn't make that much of a difference since far cry is in the first person and therefore whatever customizations you make won't matter eg. clothes, etc. The dialogue of NPC toward the protagonist is always neutral so it makes no difference.

I feel instead Diego will be a supporting character who comes to sympathize with the Revolution, and we end up helping him to overthrow his father.
I personally loved 5, was my absolute favorite in the series (I've played all but New Dawn since FC3) I'm glad it's a different studio as well though because if it was the same studio, they'd only have had 2 years of production on this game or it wouldn't be revealed for another 2 years to allign it with this studio's production schedule

I have, but I don't think it's him. Unless it's a very big oversight from Ubisoft...Diego is wearing very modern earbuds when he's listening to music. This game seems more rooted in modern day.

The story and characters were really good but the actually gameplay was mediocre really enjoyed it though
The unfortunate thing is that some dictatorship exist because it is the only way it can function after foreign intervention. A lot of modern borders of underdeveloped or war zone areas are drawn by empires with no concern as to whether the people in it recognized the system and borders.
Also are Ubisoft making almost yearly farcry games now. we've had Farcry 5 & New dawn in the past 2 years.
