    It’s actually amazing. I can’t believe we’re having our own arena.
    It’s going to have outdoor plaza (very similar to Jurassic Park in Toronto) where fans can gather watch the game with big screen outside . And there’s also shopping and community courts 🔥🔥🔥❤️

    Congrats Clippers fans on getting your own arena!!
    Hopefully it will give you guys a tremendous homecourt advantage!
    This is what having a wealthy and active owner can do. Mr Ballmer is a competitor. He wants the best. You are in good hands.
    He might be a bit too loyal in regards to Gm Lawrence Frank but we shall see. Hard to judge his work when Kawhi and PG are always hurt, especially Kawhi.
    By the way, RIP Jerry West!
    One of the greatest of all time and i know he was one of your executive advisors.
    He will definitely be missed!

    I’ve heard the new arena is going to be awesome but also heard pricing for everything is crazy expensive. So that’s a bummer especially with the economy the way it is.
    I still think if they bring in some new exciting players fans will show up. But if it’s the same old thing idk anymore from all the comments I’ve read everywhere. Fans want changes

    Sharing a spot with the Lakers was cursed, that building was beyond cursed. Clips in their new spot should refresh their luck and they should be fine now and now no excuses for the schedule makers, should be exciting. Hopefully some new younger faces are in the dome in the team, can’t have a bunch of old washed up guys stinking it up next season.

      They have to find a way to get bigger, younger, and more athletic, even if Gm Lawrence Frank brings back Kawhi, PG, and Harden.
      I think it becomes even more important to surround 3 older players with as many youngsters as possible so if the organization needs to pivot, the transition would be a tad bit easier if there are solid younger players already on board.
      It might be smart for management to choose between Big Zu and Terrance Mann, as to which of their under 30 players on team friendly contracts, they prefer to keep as their key youngster for a possible retool mid-season(if the team is struggling in the tough west at the all star break or just treading water)
      The reason i say this is because one of those players, Norman Powell, and PJ Tucker are around $38-$40 mil in combined salary, with Powell and Tucker on expiring deals.
      Those types of contracts can be very attractive to young teams that need veterans for the season but are also looking for cap relief for 2025/2026 because they will have to give their youngsters raises or extensions.
      Trading Powell elevates Bones' role off the bench and gives the team some real games to evaluate his worth. There can always be a star on the floor with him(probably PG)
      Those 3 players going out can bring back younger players, with hopefully one starter or either Kai Jones or Kobe Brown can take the other starting spot(if Mann is the one moved) and maybe even some draft compensation.
      I don't believe Frank should bring back all 3 stars but if he does, this is the way to go.
      Force them to carry and lead a younger supporting cast.

    • @LouieTzepher

      @@sammyslam1 You are preaching to the choir my man, I heard Clips worked out Patrick Gardner, dude is a 6'11 PF/C that can defend the rim shoot some 3's (at a low clip) and get to the basket, wouyld love for them to get him. nevertheless, i agree 100%, they must get younger and gain some length if they want to stay out of the play in next season. If they Keep their 3 guys, they have to surround them by length and youth. That means Tucker, Russ, Plumlee, Theis, should all be gone and replaced with younger more capable bodies while playing Bones, Miller and Brown.

    • @sammyslam1
      @sammyslam1 13 днів тому

      @@LouieTzepher ....yea personally if i were Lawrence Frank i would let Harden seek a deal elsewhere and make a deal with Russ to stay on what would be a cheaper contract but the same thing still applies.
      I estimate Harden will cost between $25-$35 mil per and Russ around $8-$15 mil per.
      I just wouldn't want young athletic players stuck in the Harden system of play, i think that style really hurt Terrance Mann and it's Mann and Bones i would want to keep over Zu and Bones.
      I have nothing against James Harden, i think he's a brilliant basketball player, i just prefer playing with more pace and i prefer slightly better defense.
      If it were me i would trade Big Zu, PJ Tucker, and Norm......and i would be looking to get a young center in return, with young role players and draft assets.
      I would be looking at maybe starting either Jones or Brown at the 4.
      I would give Mann and Bones the second unit with PG. I hate losing Norm but the team will have to sacrifice one of its better players to add depth, youth, size, and athleticism. Same with Big Zu, i would hate to lose him but a good young player would have to go out to improve the team all around and he is the least athletic of the younger players.
      I actually think playing a bit quicker will help Kawhi and PG....
      We'll see what they choose to do but i would choose Kawhi, PG, and Russ personally and surround them with youngsters!

    • @LouieTzepher
      @LouieTzepher 13 днів тому

      @@sammyslam1 I totally forgot about Norm, without question his contract should be moved in order to get a younger depth piece or pieces. Russ was a bit disappointing during the playoffs, he kinda hurt the team, but i agree, the team needs his pace, up to me if i had to chose between him and Harden, id let Harden walk and keep Russ, he fits better with the system and the guys. Big Zu grew on me, he is a great rim protector, but he always struck me as a backup center rather than a starting center. I haven't see Jones play since Charlotte so it is hard to determine if he fits better with the first or second unit, but Clips need a big body youthful PF in that starting lineup, no way can Kawhi play PF another season. What if we could get a decent piece for Mann, what you think about trading him?

    • @sammyslam1
      @sammyslam1 13 днів тому

      @@LouieTzepher ....i think if the team keeps Harden it should trade Mann and keep Big Zu.
      Big Zu is better in that slower half court style than Mann.
      I think if Harden leaves and Russ stays, i would keep Mann because he and Bones in the second unit could keep the quicker pace going and at the end of 2022/2023, they were fantastic together off the bench.
      This would be my last season with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, despite the extension for Kawhi and the new deal for PG.
      If they can't bring a title to LA in the 2024/2025 season, there is no point in bringing either back.
      That offseason just trade both to different contending level teams.
      Get what you can.
      Ask Russ to stay on board to help build the culture and mentor youngsters and give Bones Hyland the starting point guard job.

    Obviously, liberation from another franchise's basement speaks for itself. It SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN NECESSARY TO BEGIN WITH, but OK **finally** the Clippers "have a home". Yay.
    now (and forever)... 1) *The only "fan experience" I care about is* _to see a good ball game._ 2) I'd also prefer to have a home team I can root for - without paying to be made to feel _stupider_ by the NBA "culture". [e.g. play _"ev-ee bud-ee clap yo' hands"_ one more time and.... fckng kill me already].
    All this hi-tech 'basketball mecca' razzle-dazzle ~might~ be good, but it doesn't matter, really. Get the first two things right and the rest will follow (almost) effortlessly. This isn't rocket science.
