How to Rekey a Padlock (Make Your Practice Lock Harder to Pick)

I also cover how to remove the locking pawls, driver pins and bottom pins known as gutting, as well as how to reassemble the padlock.
By modifying the padlock, you are able to learn more about the lock, but more importantly you can create a more challenging lock by adding security pins such as spools, mushroom pins, and serrated pins by following this guide.
