Great video. I just love how the Spanish have so many fiestas. 🎉🍺🍻 when we went to the Benidorm fiesta in thd old town last Nov it was just like this, absolutely packed. There's Spanish that come to the fiestas from all different regions of Spain, and they set up long tables in the streets, and they take over some small bars for the whole week. There was 2 big groups right outside our apartment, they partied all night long. We could still hear the music and them singing at 4am 😂 they seemed to set out food & drink on the tables and eat & drink all day. They call them peña people. 😁🍺🍻🥃 and just love how all the children are out at night, your right you'd never see that in the UK at midnight. The Spanish certainly know how to party..🎉🍾🍺🥃🍷
The fencing is all over the city - each neighbourhood has their own, and they are party central for the whole of the mid-summer festival - many with discos until daylight. The festival is huge - events all day and night and crowds and crowds of people. They take all that fencing and pop-up bars down at other times. The city is really beautiful in places, and some places not as nice, but its not really a resort, more a city by the sea. Well worth a few days away, and the Melia at the front is ideally located (we booked on black Friday weekend for the following summer and got 40% off).
Next time your in Lanzarote spend some time on Arrecife. It's absolutely stunning and, dare I say it very reasonable for food and drink compared to the touristy resorts . Many people think it's all industrial because of the airport but, far from it.
Your videos were so good, I am going to take my son to Benidorm so may see you out there, take care and stay awesome, if you need a mod for your chat when you go live give me a shout
The Spanish don’t drink pints of beer. All the beers - particularly in tapas places- are small because they don’t like warm beer. They think that by the time you finish a pint, it’s gone warm (caliente!) So smaller drinks are always nice a cold (fría)
