This album definitely is the easiest to listen to and in my opinion underrated. It's not their best album but it stands out so much from the rest with many fun and good songs.
Steveo hit the nail on the head here: so many bands completely lose fans by changing their core sound too much from album to album. That doesn't mean you can't still be creative (adding rims as he called it), if just means you don't abandon what got people hooked to begin with.
@puckrockfan it's bleeped out because this was broadcasted on TV and they didn't want to endorse or promote any companies. They're drinking Starbucks, but you can't really see the label. However, when he says the word Starbucks, it's bleeped out in order to not promote them :)
people don't get underclass hero ITS NOT POP! its a punkrock record with deep emotions very artistic....the vocal harmonies all that shit it goes deeper than all killer no filler heard march of the dogs? theres a part with 4 chords... he strums every chord 7 times not 8...7......i think thats epic
@blinkoffyourpants Now I got it, thanks so much! Uhmm.. so, as he's an official member now, did he took part for Screaming Bloody Murder recording process?
theres a part in march of the doggs a part that has 4 chords and normally you strum each chord 2 times, or 4 times, or 8 or whatever.... he strums each chord 7 times..and it makes no sense....but that is the cool thing about it it comes right after the first chorus i guess
@JaysanJanabel ehh, i wouldn't say he's an official member. it's complicated because sum 41 said he's pretty much in the band, and yes! he did help with the recording of Screaming Bloody Murder, but in the album, it doesn't state that he's apart of the band . get what i'm saying?
its a good album, but they may have done it at the wrong time. I don't think yo can go from a metal/thrash album like Chuck then go to a poppier punk album. It's just kind of an extreme change.
If they would have just trimmed some of the fat this album would stand a lot taller but its amazing moments get pulled back down by a lot of mediocre ones. A shorter but tighter album would have been the way to go on this one.
its good that cone switch octaves because the whole album for him must have been so boring... but, how deryck wanted it to be was better....the low stuff..
I really don't get why no one else likes this album.... i fucking love this album
this albums so underrated
No, not really. Sum 41 is a bit underrated though.
+MrPhantom95 Well now they are, but 15 years ago they were one of the most listened-to bands in America
Shaun Gruver exactly.
+MrPhantom95 I'd say it's somewhat underrated. it got a lot of hate from fans when it came out, everyone was accusing them of ripping off blink-182
Far and away their worst album for me.
Pull the curtain is my favorite The Sums song.
This album definitely is the easiest to listen to and in my opinion underrated. It's not their best album but it stands out so much from the rest with many fun and good songs.
Sum, Blink and Green Day are bosses.
good charlotte also.
I don’t think we’ll ever get that type of era back in our lifetimes. I miss those years for sure
Big 5 is Zebrahead and Yellowcard too
The offspring
the offspring
I like Cone’s bass part, they shoulda recorded that
Cone always seems like he's havin' a shit time.

@JaysanJanabel they added Tom when they started touring for Underslass Hero. he was nowhere near the recording process.
Confusion and frustration in modern times it is :)

4:40 Love Deryck's laugh always cracks me up. Also I don't understand why they bleep that out at 4:41 what did he say when it bleeped out?
Deryck said Starbucks
6:32 I heard Confusion and Frustration In Modern Times demo :O
"Whales fucking" hahahaah
its a good album, but they may have done it at the wrong time. I don't think yo can go from a metal/thrash album like Chuck then go to a poppier punk album. It's just kind of an extreme change.
@SociallyInept182 they cant advertise or promote a product. thats why its like censoring what shirt a band is wearing in videos sometimes too
THE FiRS SONGS SUM41 LiSTENED iS CALLED UNDERCLASS LAST GREAT SING OF AL TiME &SPECK OF DEViL
Hes in another band called Gob. Hes probably touring.
they probably switched to 7/4 time or a bar of 4/4 followed by a bar of 3/4 etc.
Lmfao did they bleep Starbucks and not fuck?
what's the music they were playing on 6:34?
Confusion and frustration in modern times
7:00 i thought cone would become the new drummer, maaan!!!
@avsjaysfan1939 other way around i think; they don't want to advertise them for free, without permission
i like subject to change more
For anyone who thinks this is pop punk well it's not it's. Punk with a deep meaning....
If they would have just trimmed some of the fat this album would stand a lot taller but its amazing moments get pulled back down by a lot of mediocre ones. A shorter but tighter album would have been the way to go on this one.
Motivation that's what the songs called contrerakiller310
bf 10th a hero video
I'm not talking about the band by the way I'm talking about the song
I like the new album, but i think "chuck" is so much better....and also "does this look infect"...
1:35
I don't understand, where the hell is Tom???
its good that cone switch octaves because the whole album for him must have been so boring...
but, how deryck wanted it to be was better....the low stuff..
omg thats so messed up
Why is this so awkward like they’re not even friends
I want cones shirt at 4:02
at 2:19 its walking disaster
I dont get it too, i mean its the best! how can people not like the album, my teacher said that it was OVER-rated i mean DAFUQ!

1a2asdf is prolly just mad (UNDERSTANDABLY SO) that cone was bashing brown sound
this is their weakest album... its ok but its just nowhere near as amazing as all killer or screaming bloody murder etc.
Bass player is cringe leval 95
Why?
Why
@SociallyInept182 they cant advertise or promote a product. thats why its like censoring what shirt a band is wearing in videos sometimes too
