- The dreaded coding interview. Sometimes we get lucky and have to solve easy coding problems like reversing a linked list or inverting a binary tree. But sometimes it is much more difficult than that...

Everyday we stay further from cracking the code interview…
"Smash Map" killed me
This was hilarious, well done! I’ve been in the industry for 6 years and still have no idea what I’m doing!!! :)
you deserve atleast a million subs. your content is amazing.
This was cool, I laughed while I was watching like I really laughed out loud. Not that fake lol shit you send to your friends and loved ones to keep the conversation less awkward.
this is one of the best videos I've ever seen Kenny
Great video! As someone who is a little over 2 years into the field I can definitely relate. Even though Im confident in my development ability and resume I'm still terrified of having to do another coding interview. It's refreshing seeing you talk about development like a real human, the egos and facades can be unreal lol
Absolutely hilarious. Found you via the Upwork videos KEEP IT UP KENNY
you really put a lot of effort in this one, it's really good! Keep going brother
Quality mate as always
"The red key swtich" got me
Story time! One day I had an interview like that with 2 devs. I faced the smashmap problem where they gave me a few minutes to solve it. I told them that was the kind of things that I was solving when learning to code 8 years ago and that the question was downgrading compared to the responsibility of the job (I wanted to insult their question and also skip it because I didn't program those data structure in a very long time). They didn't say anything. Obviously they where waiting for me to start solving it. So, I programmed a smashdic instead which was a more efficient and complex solution. I did that because I didn't really understood clearly the restriction they wanted and there was no going back to ask. Instead of reviewing my code or even trying to make it compile, I submitted it to them and said "I'm done we'll check how it works"... Of course there were errors and mistakes, but while they were reading the code, commenting that it wasn't what they asked, but understanding it was designed to solve the problem, they were not reading into the details all the mistakes I've made. Each time they skipped a mistake, I told them and they were impressed that I saw what they didn't see or that I was able to argue about my code.
Sometimes, I think that since those interview's goal is to make people fail so that they can feel special or superior by having the job and not others, handling a provoked failure situation was a good approach with them. That way they can feel superior because I already lowered myself enough. In the end, I got the job. It was a very toxic environment to work in and after 2 months I left. I learned that passing trash interview can lead to work in trash. It's a case of pride gone wrong in my opinion. We're happy that we open the locked door since it was perceived as a challenge, but never really considered what was on the other side. If it stinks, there's probably rotten garbage somewhere and that is not a comfortable place to sit.
This is a valuable comment. Thank you man
You just ascended to a new level Kenny lmfaoo this was awesome

Hello Kenny! I wanted to know how I can be a professional mobile app dev and keeping a path in which I will be able to turn into backend dev without being again in a junior or entry level position or the opposite(working with the same languages maybe? idk). Please I would love to hear your experienced opinion about this topic! Thanks anyway!

Hi. I am 38 years old from India. I have very basic idea of coding which I did during my college days in 2003. After college I have been working in a bank but now I want to switch to software as it provides the opportunity to work from anywhere. Will it be possible for me to learn coding now and get work through upwork or any such platform?
Too real 🤣🤣🤣
The pajama pants under the dress shirt 💀💀 this was brilliant

*What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
REPENT OF YOUR SINS Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS
Always remember to repent of your sins (sin is transgression of YAHUAH The Father In Heaven’s LAW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy) And Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that you can be forgiven of your sins!
HE Loves you! Come to HIM🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
