I envy you!! It is for me as well!! I've feared, yet have been fascinated with this architectural, civil engineering marvel of the world. Have always wanted to cross it, just to purge myself of the fears I have of it. Only rail bridge/motor bridge I've crossed is the Williamsburg Bridge betw. Brooklyn & Manhattan , on the BMT's "15/Jamaica Local" subway train, now the 'J' train...But would never compare to this..You are a lucky man!!
Interesting version... not all facts are correct however. For example, Bouch’s “light tower” is NOT the Robert Stevenson Light Tower from 1817, but a small brick built tower that is still visible to the north west of the Inchgarvie Cantilever.
It is informative and interesting. I was just reaching the kinds of bridges .it's name was in the example and I searched and found it. Thanks and regards
Only people who are very familiar with the bridge in the present day are going to call it that, most people who aren't anal about the bridge will call it the rail bridge in order to differ it from the adjacent road bridges.
I will be in Scotland in this year to see this miracle. It's a most beautiful bridge of the world for me.
Best regards, Scotland.

There's no such thing as the Forth Railway Bridge.
The structure is called The Forth Bridge.
Why do people insist on calling it The Forth 'Rail' Bridge. It's the Forth Bridge and nothing else.
Only people who are very familiar with the bridge in the present day are going to call it that, most people who aren't anal about the bridge will call it the rail bridge in order to differ it from the adjacent road bridges.
Agreed! They go to all the bother of creating the "History" and can't get the name correct
They differ already by having different names:1. The Forth Bridge 2. The Forth Road Bridge3. The Queensferry Crossing
@@gaelenski_ Agree here..do see both sides.
