I was SO proud of Sonny in this episode. Love how he stands up for his daughter by telling Kiefer's dad it's HIS fault Kiefer beat up Kristina!! GH has such great actors/actresses.
cause Warren thinks he's tough that Sonny won't do nothing but yet that's what Faith tried to do but except she kidnapped his kids but yet look what happened to her got shot lost all her goons then went to war with Sonny and Lost moral of this Warren is like Faith thinks he's badass tough guy till he meets Sonny yet you can tell he's afraid but won't show it
I believe Sonny's love for his kids goes deeper than everything else in his life. I think that is what makes him a great father, despite all his misgivings.
@@rhaegostheskydragon1760 you're right, but business is his first love despite how hard it might be for the character to admit. Just like a drug addict or gambler. That comes first in their life, their family definitely doesn't want to admit it. Sonny loves power and he thinks it protects and provides for his family. It does, but it also brings a lot of heartache and drama. It's a double-edged sword. Just like Jason, his life and what he does is all he's ever known, his loyalty to Sonny goes before his kids. He does love his kids though.
I can’t even believe that Sonny even let him talk to Kristina as long as he did. My Dad would’ve been like, “don’t talk to my daughter, you don’t talk to her. Ever.”
@matthatter56 Oh yes I agree!!! lol I loved the part where kristina told Sonny "Keefer did all the things, but keefer wasn't an awful person" then Sonny Replied with " Neither am I " That was a great moment.
i wish the writers wouldn't have killed keifer and warren off so quickly. i wish they would've gone through the motions of having a trial and had keifer and warren suffer the consequences of their actions. also for kristina to fully understand how damaging telling lies can be. i think the writers could have and should have gotten more out of this storyline instead of killing off keifer and warren with out them going through the justice system.
Abused or not, there's no excuse for what Kiefer did, he had no right and/or reason to treat Kristina like that. He and his dad(who was probably abused himself) should've and could've gotten help a long time ago instead of blaming someone else for their wrong doings.
If you listen very carefully when Sonny and Kristina are talking the radio is playing Newborn Heart. That is pure genius because if you think about it the song Newborn Heart is about redemption and begging again. And in the scene father and daughter are getting 2nd chance and new begging. :) Ya I know I have waaaaaaaaaaaaay to much time on my hands and I over analyze things but hey that is what the internet is for right?
Just realized the song playing in the background during Kristina and Sonny's conversation is from the "Stephen Clay Experience" of Port Charles! very cool
@IHateEvery1Equally09 That part was awesome as well. There was so much emotion conveyed in that scene. GH has such great actors/actresses. Oh and your UA-cam name is awesome.

Kiefer’s Dad is not only a abuser himself he also a liar and a coward if Sonny can tell that Warren was lying through his teeth
“It’s about time an accident happened to u” god I love Sonny
1:20 Sonny is so right on. Nobody is born an abuser.
why would anyone think threatening a mob boss' daughter in front of his presence is the best idea? he must be insane

I like when the writers show Sonny's empathetic side.

Loved Sonny right here, Maurice at his best. Warren talks tough but he was scared to death 💀.
Sonny and Kristina both should get Emmy’s for this scene
I love it when Sonny stands up for his daughter. Warren totally deserved a talkin too and much more. Smug bastard of a character.
Sonny at his best.
Sonny's eyes at 3:14, oh my goodness, that's some fierce protectiveness there. Swoon.
I love how they brought back the old Manny Ruiz theme music when Sonny was threatening Warren. It made that scene so boss mode.
sonny is my boy the way he stand up for the one he loves
That. Is so sad because he right the abusers aren't born abuser they taught. So he is right just wish they. Didn't kill him
Wow. Sonny. You were amazing in the episode. This makes me like you a little more and understand you a little better
I'm no Sonny fan, but he was really great here. I love it when he stands up for his kids instead of getting them shot/blown up.
Sonny sees right through that scum!! Because he was a victim of abuse love Sonny he's amazing!
Man Maurice Bernard is so good

“Is that a threat.”
Sonny: I’ll show you what it looks like when I threaten someone.
love Sonny so much

Same! It could’ve been so interesting to watch.
Maybe a Keifer redemption arc?
Great job, Sonny! I've been a hardcore fan of the man forever- even when he makes me wanna hurt him. Lol.
I always wonder if the way Sonny talks is the actor forgetting his lines...either way it's great and very convincing
Pissing off a mob boss is just dumb Sonny stayed a lot calmer than you would expect

Keifer is the original Catra
sonny at his best

Go, Sonny! A fine example of how the truth hurts. It may not feel like a hundred punches, but it does put a dent in an assholes pride.
Just realized the song playing in the background during Kristina and Sonny's conversation is from the "Stephen Clay Experience" of Port Charles! very cool
this is why i Love sonny
No that's sonny he don't forget his lines he creat them that's his role just like Jason role nobody can't play those charether but them
He was really telling the truth in this scene
can't believe it's been 9 years
love sonny in this!
They always try to push Sonny
3:09 to 3:28 best line ever.

Hurt people, hurt people
Does anyone know what the background music is that starts at 1:16? I have been looking for it for years
'Fraid not. And it doesn't really supply the music title. Sorry.
Another commentator said it is called Newborn Heart
@James Fanders see my above comment. I know it’s been years but maybe you are still searching.
OMG I LUV SONNY....HIS A TRIP
Wow, Keifer really IS the Early Beta Version of Catra
I love it!
I now hate the name Keifer! They literally said it 50/11 times during this storyline!! 😩🤦🏾♀️
This storyline is why I hate the name Kiefer
Dante Talks Sonny Out Of Shooting Johnny ~ 02-21-12
Sonny told him, lesve before an ooops happens to you.
What did sonny whisper to his dad? I can’t make it out.
He said it’s about time something happened to him
That isn't Sonny's dad. Mike is Sonny's dad
@@oliviamcavoy2432 i think he meant his as in kiefers dad
But, Mike isn’t the one who abused Sonny... he was abused by his step-dad. Just to be clear
@@goodnaturedsociopath8022 just to be clear Mike is the father who left Sonny and Adela at the mercy of those who came after
I think Sonny should have had Jase take care of Warren
Warren could have hit keifer but its also likely he beat the wife.
I wish i can find that theme music
