I could not figure out where to attach the brackets and thought something was missing from my bike until I carefully watched your installation. You deserve an honest thumbs up from me. Thank you!

Thanks for watching. Like most bike mods this one isn't that difficult IF you have some good instructions and/or a video. A small amount of time and a huge improvement in the look!

Nice how-to video, thanks for posting! About to put my belly pan on my new Street Triple R (black), and while the instructions seem relatively clear, it's always better to see it on a video than on paper! Cheers!

That was a great help , thanks Greg. My street triple R extras did not all arrive at the dealer in time to be put on the bike so they sent them direct ....I was fine with the seat cowl but it would have taken hours to work those brackets out !

For anyone still looking at this, or looking for Triumph part installation instructions, here is a site for the installation manuals: www.triumphinstructions.com/. You only need the part number for the part you would like to install, e.g. A9708099.

Great video, thanks! It took me 10min. Dealer asked $60 for this job.

Glad to hear it. Amazing what a dealer will ask for a simple job like this, an oil change or a signal light swap. Keep the $$ and spend it on gas :)

Thanks for making this. I was curious to how the bally pan was mounted. Been looking at the Striple R as my next bike. Great color! Ride safe!

Greg, Thank you. I'll be installing my pan in the dealer's parking lot and need to know what tools to bring. Are the screw heads Torx, Allen or Phillips? You have an excellent camera operator - Bravo !!

It provides limited protection form debris, gravel, etc. getting kicked up and hitting the bike. Mainly looks. :)

Great to be able to see how to do this - would be even better with a list of tools needed.
Stand-in (junior?) camera operator might need a little more tuition :P

So my bracket screws don’t thread into anything they just pop in or out.

That was certainly not the case when I did it. I'm only guessing but perhaps it is a different model of Street Triple? Mine was, I believe, a 2013. Specific part is as follows and includes VIN numbers that it should work with: www.triumphinstructions.com/ProdDocs/A9708345-US.pdf. If you still have questions, I'd say it is time to call the manufacturer. Good luck!

@@slackoon1 Mine is a 14. I found a nut that I could use to hold the bolt into place. Still strange that it didn't thread into the holes in the bike. I did get the pan on.
