Isn't it STUNNING? I just loved the silhouette, the color (which didn't really show well on camera), just everything about it. One of my all time favorites for sure!
Thank you from your kind comments on the bundle I bought from you! So excited for it to arrive! You are a great shopper & so appreciate you! Love your videos & am always learning from you & tempted to buy your finds. By the way, I just had to buy the “Made by Judy” knit sweater, since my name is Judy. My mother used to knit & would use those type of labels. I have a beautiful red coat that she knit.
Ahh! You ARE a viewer! I meant every word of it - I'm able to see all your likes from my closet as well as what you have in your bundle on my side of the bundles, and I remember thinking to myself when your offer came in "Man, she's got TASTE with a capital T!" ...and I can't tell you how happy this makes me about the Made by Judy sweater. On top of being just BEAUTIFULLY knit, going to a Judy with fond memories attached to the labels? Dream. 1,000 percent the kind of home I hope these little treasures go to!
Love watching your videos thank you so much for all the information you provide. I am a reseller also and I have learned so much from you and I literally am not kidding you it’s like my guilty pleasure is watching you ha ha ha thank you so much so much love and success to you! ❤
Oh my goodness! I don't know if I've ever been called a guilty pleasure before, but I'll TAKE IT! So happy I can be of any help at all! It's such a trip to have an outlet for all of this useless info I've collected all these years...
That green shirt with the black insets on the collar, yoke, and breast pocket reminds me of Theo on the Cosby Show, when he wanted that yellow "Gordon Gartrell" shirt.
A while back, I saw an emerald green satin-and-lace Tadashi Shoji at my local TJMAXX in the clearance. It was stunning, and I almost bought it to try RA. However, I think the margin would have been tight, and it was tiny -- a size 2, or 0. That gold-shot sweater is amazing! Hard to pin a decade on it, as it's relatively timeless. The buttons -- the buttons make it fantastic!
Isn't it FABULOUS!?! I'm almost positive it's 1950s - MAYBE early 60s - it's giving blond bombshell, with a bullet bra, and high waisted capri pants. The knit with the gold specks is just so, so unusual, and the buttons for REAL. Even if the top itself was destroyed, I probably would have picked it up for the buttons alone. Just such a special piece. One of those ones that'll stick with me forever...
Hi think you are great. In my area the bins price is about 1.79/lb. In my limited experience, so far I definitely don’t see the design and popular brands in my area. I’m thinking about driving to another city to their bins.
Thank you! It's always a good reason for a road trip, but I've found incredible brands in every bins location I go to... there are treasures everywhere (but admittedly, the bins locations here are pretty incredible.
The Bella Dahl low resale is weird. I picked up a couple tops when I started reselling because the quality is so good. So soft. I sold one but I was being so stubborn on the price because I just loved how it felt and looked lol. The other is sitting so time to lower price again
Yeah - brands go in and out for sure - The pieces are high quality basics, so it's pretty tight competition in that realm. I always try to see those moments as an opportunity, though. When those prices drop, it's a good time to pick some up for our own closets!
Hi Julia Why do you ship lighter items in a larger than needed priority tyvek mailer? Wouldn't it be less in a poly mailer? Is this a Poshmark thing? I ship a lot on eBay with padded flat rate but light items go in a poly bag. I don't do Poshmark.
So - I generally just ship Poshmark items in USPS provided packaging (as their standard shipping is Priority Mail, and they provide the supplies for free). For ebay, Mercari and Depop items, I use poly mailers. I guess I could use the smaller padded mailers for some of the smaller poshmark items, but that seems like a lot of extra plastic waste for the padding, when the clothing generally doesn't need it.
That vintage sweater is beautiful.... such a flattering silhouette. You pick out the best items

Selling a beautiful Vintage item is just the best! Love saving vintage and getting it to someone that will use and appreciate it.
Right? It really is my very favorite thing about reselling! I love finding these discarded treasures and getting them to someone who'll love them!
