Thanks Johnny. What an amazing day to soon usher in another cold, damp, and dreary November to come. This was a day for the memory banks of sight and warmth.😄
Thanks for another beautiful walk, Johnny. I thought today's narrative, and your detailed description of Palmerston, was excellent. It's one of my favourite streets as well. The 3rd Palmerston, Palmerston Gardens which runs west off Palmerston Ave (a bit south of Dupont) has some very interesting houses too.
Looks like another stunning fall day. I’ve seen the interior of some of these houses in design magazines. ❤all those mature trees. Last Halloween’s stream was fun. 🎃
When you were in the west part of the Annex, I was hoping you might go up to the tiny Jan Sibelius Park, where there's a bust of the composer scowling down on the kiddy playground. It's a very pretty part of town, but the little kids who grow up there must be traumatized by that statue. Sibelius was the only composer who could out-scowl Beethoven. Now that I think of it, there's quite an odd selection of statues in the city, each reflecting some wave of immigrants: Vasco da Gama, Sun Yat-Sen (2 of him), Robbie Burns, Winston Churchill, William Lyon Mackenzie, and Glen Gould come to mind, as well as various more impersonal representations such as the Irish Famine Memorial, Little Norway Park, the Nameless Immigrant Family, and the giant 50-ton Inukshuk by Kellypalik Qimirpik from Cape Dorset, Nunavut. I miss the grizzly bear statues that used to be in College Park --- not sure why they took them away.

Palmerston I never been there so I’ll check it out the next time I’m in Toronto thank you Johnny strides for the continued work all the way through
Lovely fall walk…..enjoyed seeing the grand old houses and the beautifully coloured trees! ☺️
Wow man you’re in my neighbourhood, I live in the college Bathurst area, so I’m very familiar, and I’ve treaded the very steps you going. Very cool!
Palmerston looked great. Some beautiful fall colors.

Love these older neighbourhoods.

Palmerston is a 'gated street' from Bloor to College. still has some great houses of the rich.
We missed each other as I was walking on Palmerston myself that same day, I was there around 1:30 PM

First! Keep burning those calories 🚶♂️
I wonder how much these houses are worth?
Hello there. Is it any elevator in this spladina station. I'd appreciate it if you could tell us which one have this option. Thanks
It's been a beautiful fall here in New Bruswick. So warm.
