I owned Unicorn 2009 model and drove it for 55000 kms on city and highways. I also owned victor, pulsar 150, Apache 160 &180abs & Bullet. So I'm writing this review with my vast past experience. Unicorn's performance, comfort, milage and balance is unmatchable on highways. You can drive it for numerous hrs without being tired. It offers the best sitting posture. The vibrations are literally 0 on handle bars, footpegs, seat etc. It's maintenance is on the lower side as compared to my other bikes. Its build quality is excellent this bike won't gets aged easily. Non of the bike offers pillion comfort as unicorn. Its cons are its low torque,it requires frequent gear shifting in city traffic. It's low end pick up & throttle response is pathetic. Being a monoshock bike it should have wider rear tyre as its slim tyre skids while braking at higher speeds. It does not give confidence over 100 kmph. Hit like if agree👍
Very good observation., Honda commuter bikes in general lake low end torque and throttle, which is where 300cc+ segment comes in and with CB they have really upped their game

I have 2022, bs6 version The one thing which is often overlooked my companies is the pillion seat. Unicorn has good pillion comfort and sometimes you can take more than one pillion.
Bought one during 2009 when I was doing my final year at college. Rode it for 145000 km when it showed slight engine troubles. Replaced it with another Unicorn in 2019. Now I am 36 and still Iove riding this bike. I have a daily commute of around 80 kms. Again would prefer another Unicorn, if available, when I change this bike.
My elder brother still owns the first generation blue Honda unicorn and 2020 model Honda shine also....what the craze was of blue ho da unicorn..i was in class 7 .....i loved that bike so much
Actually formal & bulky look of this bike is best one with hard metal body... providing best milage nearly (50-60)avg...meter console is like junior hyhabusa😀 having a best refined engine with best riding comfort for youngsters as well as mid age people... it's a best family bike coming with flat seat...so it still beating the market & step up ahead...m also a unicorn owner🥰🙏

Unicorn with a refined engine is a delight to drive with periodic services can go on for ages. I own a 2014 model don’t want to sell it. Best bike in 150cc.
I have a honda unicorn 150 which is BS3 which I took in 2016. I drive this bike sometime for about 200 KM in a single drive without any issue flawlessly with a break of 20 minutes on highways. What I like about this bike is its smooth engine, comfortable riding posture, mileage and performance on highways. Within this 6yrs i drove this bike for about 70,000 KMS and i have not done any refinement with the engine so far only I have changed chain sprocket, tyres, engine oil changes after every 3000 KM run and air filter after every 10000 KM and other oil changes as and when it's required. I just love this bike
Sometimes the reason to love something cannot be explained in words, and it is just the emotions that flow in rythm inside us for the thing that we love. IMO Honda Unicorn has a clean and sharp design that is free of unnecessary grooves, curves or styling. It has a brilliant design that is minimalistic yet looks purposefully aesthetic. That Karizma resembling rear end is the cherry on top. The peppy performance combined with the heavenly neat and straight design is all that I love Unicorn for.
The design has all that is practically needed which a sensible matured middle class person would need.. and no unnecesary hyped features.. that is why still people like it.. i am planning to buy (from super splendor-2018)

I have 2010 model special edition. Main highlight is smooth engine most 150 cc bikes are powerful than unicorn but are not comfortable. The pillion seat can easily accommodate 3 medium built people

I have unicorn 2005 model I bought it when I was in school and m using it still. My unicorn is 18 yrs old now and completed 214000 km and m running it daily 100 km still.
U did not mention unicorn cb 160 which was launched and discontinued within 2 year's but parelly the sales old unicorn began to rise. Due to public demand old honda unicorn with cb 160cc engine was relaunched. Which still remains valuable bike till date after pulsar 150cc only
I own a cbz xtream, in 2008 I was confused between unicorn and cbz , personally I hate unicorn design but appreciate the engine smoothness .But my experience with cbz is fantastic just fill it enjoy it . Zero maintenance still no engine nut has been opened yet .

I have Honda Unicorn 160. Its look is very decent. The pillow is not that high which helps to carry female and aged members. I am a teacher and this design suits my profession. This is bike is like Rahul Dravid of Indian cricket. Not flamboyant but still great.
last mein 150cc Unicorn and 160cc unicorn ki information thodi galat ho gayi. They had discontinued the 150cc unicorn and launched the 160cc unicorn which had different looks. Then due to public demand, they had to relaunch the 150cc unicorn!
Trust for the no tension engine and low price in 160 segment....This actually fits with the typical Indian sentiment, mean max population...Same as Honda CB Shine, quite a simple design but best selling 125 cc bike...
In my honda unicorn top speed is 80kmph and mileage 40 kmpl when it is 2018 model it should give atleast top speed of 100 ......can someone tell me what is the problem.....
I also own a unicorn bs6 2020 nov model till now 19k on km just service no extra purchase done till now getting average of 45kmpl in city on highway above 50. Cons : abs indication comes every time and services centre couldn't resolve it

Last week I bought this Unicorn BS6 162cc. It's super smooth. But only issue in gear shifting . Planning to change the gear lever.
