Man everytime you upload I go and watch it. It's also refreshing to see how you also get that OCD to get everything straight and aligned, and might even get it wrong a few times like the rest of us mortals haha
Thank you for the kind words! And i am right there with you, I see some of the creativity out of the other youtubers and I am just blown away. Also, if you could see how many takes some of these shots need to get right...
Awesome video. I appreciate you making this for the world! Well explained, good music, eye candy in the form of neat builds packaged in great camera work. Thanks!
I always wondered how do you get those sweet real time build shots with the camera panning all over the place. The only person I have notifications on for to notify me IMEDIATLY that a video dropped.
haha thanks. I will post a turoial on how its made at some point, but theres not a lot of magic to it, just setting up the cinematic camera and building in front of it. a lot of patience and practice.
I agree. I think they have said that is a goal, to make saves forward compatible but I havent heard CSS actually say outright that they will. Im guessing itll be like how its been in the past where most stuff should work but there might be a recipe tweak here or there or minor landscape changes or something.
Good stuff. And it reminds me we need to redo the smart plate plant in the multiplayer. We didn't future proof that so tore it down to get things right. We have a pure iron node off to the side a little so doing that won't be an issue really. (Rocky Desert base of the falls area) Nothing got future proofed so we are reworking just about everything. Building it all to support 480 ppm belts though only Mk2 miners. Still a couple shards and it runs as a Mk3 and when we get Mk3 miners can really play with numbers.
Sounds like you are planning ahead. I love starting in the rocky desert, btw, it is my favorite start. I like to build my factories to be appropriate for the stage of the game I am in, I feel like if I go too big too early it is easy to get distracted or burn out.
@@Dekoba I find something like that as well. My biggest ache is trying to balance the desire to get things done, to keep moving, to take that next step and the growing desire to make thing look good first. I can set up from start to completion of phase 1 in a few hours. But I don't have a factory, I have a bunch of machinery scattered here and there. I would be happy just to be as neat as yours are early on. At least yours look like at any time you could do cosmetics which can be a good break from the build routine. I just need greater self discipline. I think I am getting there, slowly....lol
@@EmperorTyrael If you want to be 100% efficient here, I would underclock the rod constructors to 10 per minute, separate the 2 smelters for the rods and the screws, and have the smelter supplying the screws underclocked to 25 iron ingots/min and the smelter supplying the rods to 20 iron ingots/min. And of course use mk.2 belts for the screws.
Great video! The pacing of your time lapse segments is perfect. Not slow, not fast.
Whenever your videos drop i cant wait to get home and play this game. its so addictive
Thanks for the kind words. its a big motivator to keep producing content like this.
really enjoy your videos man.. your a talented editor too. i think ive watched all of them so we all need more now! thanks again
Thank you. One last episode for the lp coming today or tomorrow, then I'll be starting fresh for the 1.0 launch next week!

Nah you got it with this short video style short and too the point but entertaining, really builds the urge to play satisfactory with these.

Thanks!
the videos are really awesome, the music selection is perfect for the game, it feels like hypnosis.
Thank you!

I can't wait for 1.0! I hope we can use existing saves when it drops.

i love the camera work Dekoba. do u use a mod for that? or maybe make a video about that?
Hey, I use a custom modded multiplayer setup for it. I plan to make a video on it at some point !

is this really 100% efficient? eventually the assembler will back up on rods
It's a manifold system and every machine is tuned to run constantly via underclocking
@@Dekoba But you didn't show underclocking by how much.
