    Curious if I can convert these tests into a full-scale homing drone tested on real world scenarios? I'm getting there, but still saving for hardware and logistics. SUBSCRIBE to support me. Ask like-minded friends to subscribe also.

      Thanks for the nice words, much appreciated. I try many things and see what sticks. :)
      Nice that you have a Tello for learning Python and drone control. The EDU version gives you access to the downward camera so that's another thing you can use (mine is the basic version). I know that feeling of accomplishment the first time that drone takes off under your Python control!

    can you share the HUD? i have rest of the stuff but i only lack a good interactive HUD

    • @timelapsecoder
      @timelapsecoder  8 місяців тому

      sorry can't share this private code. i can tell you that the HUD is not special, just a bunch of lines and rectangles in OpenCV, plus mouse events handling. that effort is nothing compared to the work you did coding the PF.

    I have a one naive question. Whats your color Scalar(R,G,B) values 😅 and which font you are using. Thanks

    • @timelapsecoder
      @timelapsecoder  5 місяців тому

      Not sure which font I used here. Probably just tried a few and picked one I liked. This is on grayscale so no RGB values.

      Probably not completely 255 green as that might look too bright. I remember testing different values.

    Is this actually your drone that you are flying to do these tests, or are you using someone else's drone footage? Excellent work, by the way.

      Not for sale. For college, you don't need this level of capability. Just use OpenCV tracker(s), learn basic PID, test on a clean environment (for proof video) to minimize failure scenarios, and acknowledge failure scenarios in your report. Submit to professor. :)
