Used to mdrive one of these at Kopuku Open Cast coal Mine in NZ far too many years ago. Have you guys learnt to split shift that crash gearbox yet? Going from High first to low second is the hardest gearchange.
@DieselPowerTV Thats kinda hard to imagine for a Dutchman like myself, since most of our land has been washed in from France and German rivers over centuries: The few rocks you find here locally, were buried by my grandfather, our soil is beach sand with 8 inches of topsoil... in a field we rent a few km from home, the only rocks you'll find is some iron ore chunks...
What are you doing, transplanting an existing driveway into another direction ? Or is there so much gravel naturally available that you guys were just quarrying it there ?
55 years ago I watched I 694 being built literally right through my parent's back yard! Thank you for showing me some of the exact machines I saw!!!

@RenzeZielman This is the land owners gravel pit and there is so much gravel naturally available that we are quarrying it there.
They are both cats the pusher is a D8 and the scraper is a DW20 as the title states.
Sound quality on this video is excellent.

i think a bigger dozer would make it a little quicker that D8 just abt stalls tryin to push that DW20
Looks like fun!!!!

accelera non te senti che El software Masa
its a lot less hamrfull to the enviroment than a large v12 fararri or some clown that drives his v8 gas suv to work everyday...

EURO 10
Will stick to my twin engine scrapper with real hydraulics and not air over
