The thought about "nothingness = nothing to cause a reaction" brings me personally to a religious conclusion. So your conclusion that the universe must have always existed for me is replaced with god who always existed :) Keep up with such a style for some of your videos, it's great :D
I come from a Hindu background, and I don't really believe in God and all this tradition bullshit. That's why I try to look at my religion more as a philosophical way of living. I see religions as boats created by humans to cross the river and reach the metaphorical "better side." The idea is to keep crossing rivers, evolving spiritually. However, in the current world, people, instead of using the boat, are fighting with each other, claiming their boat is better and completely missing the point.
So...is this even real? Do you see that lamp glitching? Or am I the only one 🤔hmmm

As muslim i only have to tell you this ( allah exist before adam creation and what was he doing before? The answer is he created another creature in earth and what before that it doesn’t mention before that in quran but not mention it does not mean it is false or never existed it means that for some reasons it wasn’t mentioned but you are living creature with mind and soul you are real and exist no philosophy could change that fact remember that reality always would be real and imagination will always be not real

I like to think I'm a figment of someone else's mind, just imaginary. The person who thought me up can worry about nothing is everything and everything is nothing.
I always felt like asking myself as a kid “life just…starts?” I feel like physically we’re all born into our bodies but spiritually we’ve been around for many many lifetimes, I’m not scared of dying because my body will be helping this beautiful earth, and my soul will be around filled with love and many memories, life is nuts but enjoy it while you have some control and some freedom :)
Not everything is action reaction based - for example mouth ulcers it just happens sometimes or COVID - many hypotheses but no 100% answer what it caused
The Necessary Existence which the Universe is dependent on is a non-contingent entity, therefore asking what "came before it" is an invalid question because it is outside of the line of causality/contingency. It is not caused and it is not contingent on anything else to exist by definition. It is the causer and it is that which the contingent is contingent upon. Hope this makes sense.
As Muslims we believe in the big bang too and that god has made it is actually mentioned in the coran and for what was before it a group of people in old times also had the same question and they went to the prophet Mohamed and asked him about it and he said that there was god and there was nothing before him,(bukhari authentic book)maybe this will lead some people to think how ? Well i believe that there's some things that are just beyond our comprehance like the idea of eternity
