To reach space, we need to build a structure which passes the exosphere, which is the last layer of our atmosphere and it's last point is about 480 km above the ground if measured perpendicularly. And in our atmosphere, due to unequal heating of sun, lots of winds will exert powerful forces on the structure, it may also break the structure. Then how space elevator can be made. It seems to be an impossible task. Building a structure >480 km. Just think over it. Burj khalifa was made with so difficulty by its base. Then imagine the amount of material to be used in such space project and that also light weighted with high tensile strength. This seems to be an impossible project with respect to the current technology level.
yes its true but strong metals which are unexplored now may be the type of metal which can give us the technology to make an space elevator, but till that we should be alive to know about it.
I study in class 11th and teacher says that we cannot make anything far than 10km due to some reason(i dont understood after this 😅😅) but 10km is the limit that's for sure
