When BTOB 4U unit held an online concert (pandemic time) Changsub bravely raised his seven fingers (means 7 members) and Peniel supperted it and raised his fingers too. Also their back up dancers raised their seven fingers on the photo posted on ig (but got deleted bc of hate). Changsub was called out by haters and asked for his for his apology or leave the group, Peniel as well received the same threat. However, Changsub is a firm person since the beginning and when he knew what he did is right he can't be wavered so he answered back saying that Ilhoon played a big part of the history of the group and what he did for the group shouldn't be forgotten. Peniel on the other hand is just same unbothered member LOL. And lately, when Ilhoon drop his first time in a while comeback song after four years, Sungjae liked his post. So yeah i believe they still got that bond we may not see on camera or in the eye but felt by heart. Not to mention BTOB have songs about their friendship (Beautiful by Pentagon, and Friend by BTOB). Ps: a lot of Melody are still rooting for Ilhoon after what happened. Felt sorry that while he gave comfort to us we haven't recognized that he's also suffering silently (looking back on some of his songs). And we are happy that he manage to bounce back after what he had been through.
For some of us who are quite new to the fandom, we wouldn't know some back story and happenings. Thank you for explaining. I also noticed in a video where Changsub mentioned that they're missing ilhoon, Hyunsik and Sungjae (as I believe they were in the military) but then Eunkwang kind of emphasised only on Hyunsik and Sungjae and I understand he did that only cos of toxic fans. However, I praised Changsub for that cos why not? We all make mistakes but that doesn't mean we forget their impact. I believe if companies can defend their idols like that, the toxic fans won't have the power they think they have to do anything (like what happened to Seunghan of RIIZE, I blame the company). Just so glad ilhoon is doing well and back to doing what he loves ❤️

Hyunsik usually takes the bass parts; Sungjae and Hyunsik are baritones. To answer your question, yes, Ilhoon got involved in some investigation about the use of weed (though during that time, he has already stopped & been clean for months already). But some friends of him were the ones using and purchasing weed using his crypto account that's why he got involved. Everyone was shocked..members surely fought for him and didn't want to let him go but you know the cancel culture in SK and the negative write ups, Eunkwang as the leader didn't want him to go. But that time, Eunkwang was also an executive director in Cube and he had to make a decision so the company and the whole group won't be dragged into the scandal. So Ilhoon had to go..I guess he didn't want to but he had to leave the group to protect it. But the members love him still and showed their support for him discreetly through all those trying times. They weren't allowed to speak about Ilhoon nor mention his name..but we know that they still care and have been in touch with him until now. Their bond of friendship and brotherhood is strong..they might not show it but we know deep in their hearts, they still love him and are keeping in touch with him. In fact, the members still follow Ilhoon on his social media accounts. They have a song, WIND AND WISH..and if you look into the lyrics, you'll feel that it's their song for him. They have so many wonderful songs. For starters, I think you should check out Missing You, I'll Be Your Man, Wind and Wish, Beautiful Pain, The Song, Movie, It's Okay and Only One for Me. For unit songs: Outsider and Show Your Love (BTOB 4U) as well as Stand by Me and When It Rains (BTOB Blue). This year, they also came back with a unit, 90TAN (Gugongtan), which consists of Minhyuk and Eunkwang. You should definitely check out their song Tang Tang Tang (t's so fun, and Eunkwang even has official rap parts there, so I guess his dream finally came true 😂) As for solos, there’s so much great music to dive into. Here are a few recommendations: Eunkwang: He has just one solo album, but I think he mentioned that he's preparing something for next year. You should check out his song No One Knows, but also covers from Immortal Songs, like The Man, Snow on the Branches, or Fate (with Kim Ki Tae). Minhyuk: Boom and Ya are the most well-known songs, but if you want to hear his vocals I recommend Dear My Spring or Us Together. Changsub: He recently made a comeback with 33 and Old Town, but make sure to also check out Surrender and Gone. Nice! Just finished watching killing voice reaction. That's what i hate about south Korea's ideology as well. They hate it when someone suffers for drug addiction, even if that someone has a rumor of drug use, they tend to tear that person down, bit by bit as if they did the most horrible thing when in fact , it is themselves that they are harming. Im not pro drug use or even using one but this people who did are just desperate to find something like happiness, contentment, or just a couple of hours to get away from all the stress that they cant handle themselves. The society somewhat neglect to protect the more important members of society, the women and children.
Eunkwangs voice tone caught my attention and to find out he's goofy sealed it for me 😂. But knowing them individually, I just cant choose so its all or none 😂. They are a trully talented group vocally and entertainment wise 🥰
I love Ilhoon and have supported him even after he left the group. However, when I heard the news, my first thought was "well he did kind of break a law, not to mention one of Korea's most heavily enforced one's". I am extremely glad he's back now though and he didn't even have to go to prison.
