I love my 3000 so much… I HIGHLY recommend installing the much larger (and very bright) screen that’s available. It takes the whole space, removing the bezel. The UA-camr mister mpc 3000 uses it and has a video with instructions. Hope this helps. Take care!

I do the same process with my SP 1200 and MPC X. The SP 1200 sounds a lot more grittier.

No… The E-mu SP-1200 has a 12-bit linear data format and a sample rate. This gives the SP-1200 a sound vinyl-like quality, which is a result of its digital aliasing and distortion. As well as its internal filters and conversion. This can’t be mimicked by simply using eq…

Hardware will always sound better than plugins. I have the original Sp1200 from 1987. I also have the RX1200 plugin emulation. The sonic difference is night and day!!
The heft, depth, warmth, and character of hardware can’t be totally matched with plugins. However plugins can get close but not exact.

Sorry I wake up and my vape doesn't work, so I'm a little grumpy. Beatmaker process? I almost choked. What's the point of a 3000 if it's to do everything digitally with Maschine? Moreover, the way of chop on Maschine has absolutely nothing to do with the spirit of 3k. It was the constraints like the painful cutting that gave the sound of the machine. In addition, this MPC gives its full power with the audio signal. If the sample comes from a vinyl, I really don't understand Maschine's interest in chop. This is heresy bro. Yeah, my turntable have problems recently, arm gives a signal but it mix left and right channel so it’s almost unusable. You can see lots of videos on my channel where I don’t do heresy. Sorry for offending You, my French brother :)
