- I had to remove my clutch basket in order to replace my shift stopper on my 2005 yz125. When it came to removing and tightening the clutch basket nut I couldn't find any good info online. The manual says that I needed a special tool for this, well I don't have it and I didn't want to buy it. So after messing around I figured out a solution. Hopefully this video will help you guys out.
Fastest and most effective way to snap a post off 👍😆
Would "unloosen" be tighten? 😋 Just giving you a hard time.
I’m working on a 1974 Honda XL70 replacing the clutch right now. Just was curious about that nut. Also noticed 2:17 A/C condenser engaged 😂😂😂.
I like the idea for hanging onto that clutch assembly. 👍
Did this post snapped clean off good video bro
If you leave your plates in you can just push them with your fingers while you take it off with a impact an it won’t spin
Reverse thread or normal ??
Snapped the post clean off. Not a good idea.
Don’t do it will not work he’s setting y’all up for failure, he just got lucky
Tried it and snapped the thing you put the 12 mm on
that sucks man. yeah, i personally wouldnt apply any force to those, they are just meant to hold the springs. hey are tall and could break off applying force to them.
his ratchet strap idea is interesting though. it would pull to the side though, so not ideal. but it should work without issues.
U don't need to hold it just use impact gun an be done with it I never use clutch bassket tool I have one
What size socket did you use?
I think it was 27mm
