After hunting the backcountry for 8 days through 2nd Rifle Season in Colorado, Colton and Brenten connect on a Once-in-a-lifetime bull elk on public land the last day of season.

Colton, that’s probably my favorite video I’ve ever seen from you guys. What you said in your intro was moving man. And the pure ecstatic emotion that poured out after the kill shot was gold. Love how you said the thrill of the hunt and harvest still doesn’t compare to Jesus. Ain’t that the truth. So happy for you brother!

Love your work. Reminds me of father, he was a Pastor, and how he would talk about God and his words of wisdom while were sitting on top of a mountain or dressing out a deer. He would always take the time to thank our Savior for all his creations and the ability to hunt such creatures. RIP dad and my hunting partner & brother Walter, miss you guys... God Bless from AZ!

Congratulations on a super bull. I laid here watching it with tears flowing thinking about the day in Colorado area 2 my father at 68 fulfilled his lifelong dream of a 370 bull with bow. An incredible day. I am blessed to have grown up with a father that loves the outdoors and elk hunting. I am blessed to have been able to spend 3 days in camp this past fall with him at 1 wk shy of 88. Turns out that will be the last time in the outdoors we’ll ever spend together as his health is heading downhill pretty fast it seems now. Talked to this am and told him I’m not even putting in for elk this yr and it’s all about him. He is a warrior in his mind because he still brought up this coming fall before I brought up tags to go back home to MT and hunt with him. He’s like “well if I start feeling better, I plan on going, but as usual I will hunt a few hrs in am and nap the rest of the day!” God bless him for doing this outdoors thing and his for it all the way to end. A blessing we can all only hope to blessed with. How awesome is that? Some prayers for my father In Bzn would greatly appreciated. Congrats again. Wish I could share his area 2 bull with you all. It was an awesome day! 😊

No doubt you realize the true blessing of such an amazing hunt and all the moving parts that came together to make that happen. What is even more amazing is for such an accomplished hunter to keep Jesus at the core of everything you do. You see, I don't ride in ubers, Don't sip lattes, I don't wear those funny little elf shoes like some of these worship leaders. I have a beard and wear boots and I still cut tears 3 times. Whoa....I watch that reaction 4 times with my wife and 6 kids. I got a tell you, I'm proud of yall. You glorified the Holy One in the midst of the moment. I've always wanted to hunt an elk. My grandfather hunted them in Colorado with open sights before I was born. I am 52 and am running out of days to do this. I want to hunt with you guys. I own my own horse if that helps. 😂

I harvested my biggest white tail on the last day of the season in TN and only harvested one deer the weekend before. Was trying to get my girlfriend to harvest her first deer.
