It's been confirmed that SMP Jamboree won't require motion controls for most of its minigames (and the ones that do won't even be playable online, so it's possible it may just be a separate mode altogether), so we don't have to worry about that. Given that info I think it's pretty safe to say that the boards will indeed have online play. I think it'll be much like how MP Superstars online worked, which I'm certainly happy about.
