Hunter Widows club. Hope the guys have fun hunting. Monstrous apples...WOW! I lOVE Butternut squash soup. I make mine with granny smith apples, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon, and of course onions. Nothing says Fall like a hot bowl of buttenut squash soup! Man, i love this season. Glad to see you back again.

Good to see you again my dear friend. Those apples are huge!! I've had really good luck with the Golden Harvest lids as well. I'm sure your home smelled amazing while you were making both the soup and apple pie jam. A couple years ago I made a caramel apple pie jam and canned that up. I'm thinking about turning a couple pints into a pie. I bet that would be good. One thing I did try is making my own "pop tarts" and use some of that as the filling. I bet you could do that, and your granddaughters would love it! I'm not sure if my husband would eat the soup, mainly because it would be new lol, but I sure would.

Those apples are unbelievable!! I am hoping for the same success with my new apple trees...in the coming years! I am in AZ (midway, so we get snow and 4 seasons) so fingers crossed.

Great timing! I was just thinking of you and missing your videos yesterday. I have some pumpkin from the garden that needs to be used up. I may try substituting that and one lonely sweet potato I have for the butternut squash, to try the soup. Glad to see you back at my favorite time of year, for everything, but definitely my favorite time for cooking! Love all the fall foods😍
