Which shampoo need for low porosity hair?

Always choose lightweight, sulfate-free shampoos. Low-porosity hair has tightly closed cuticles, making it hard for moisture and nutrients to get in. Use shampoos with ingredients like Buriti fruit oil, glycerin, or jojoba oil, as they are gentle and help keep your hair hydrated without making it heavy.

Drop your hair in clean water, don't touch it and wait 5 minutes:
If it floats, you have low porosity (hair may feel dry, product sits on it).
If it sinks to the middle, you have medium porosity (hair absorbs moisture well, feels healthy).
If it sinks quickly, you have high porosity (hair absorbs water fast but may feel dry or frizzy).

For low-porosity hair, always go for lightweight oils like:
      Argan oil
      Jojoba oil
      Sweet almond oil

How can i select my hair's porosity?
If i touch my hair then it sinks
And if i didn't touch then it stays on top

Drop your hair in water and wait 5 minutes for accurate results:
If it floats, it’s low porosity.
If it sinks slowly, it’s medium porosity.
If it sinks quickly, it’s high porosity.

meanwhile, me thinking does shampoo have oil?? Isn't it made to remove oil??

    • @BBforbeautybites

Shampoos are made to remove oil, but some contain small amounts of oils to keep your hair healthy. These oils restore moisture, improve texture, and protect the scalp from dryness without making your hair oily.
