The High C on the (French) can be played on 14 of the 16 tube lengths.
1. Horn in Bflat (Bb no valves) - 12th harmonic
(Horn in A (Bb valve 2) - 13th harmonic is about a quartertone sharp)
(Horn in Aflat (Bb valve 1) - 13th harmonic is too flat to be called a C)
2. Horn in G (Bb valves 1 & 2) - 14th harmonic
3. Horn in G (Bb valve 3) - 14th harmonic
4. Horn in Gflat (Bb valves 2 & 3) - 15th harmonic
5. Horn in F (Bb valves 1 & 3) - 16th harmonic
6. Horn in F (F horn no valves) - 16th harmonic
7. Horn in E (Bb horn vavles 1,2,3) - 17th harmonic
8. Horn in E (F horn valve 2). - 17th harmonic
9. Horn in Eflat (F horn valve 1). - 18th harmonic
10. Horn in D (F horn valves 1 & 2) - 19th harmonic
11. Horn in D (F horn valve 3). - 19th harmonic
12. Horn in Dflat (F horn valves 2 & 3) - 20th harmonic
13.Horn in C (F horn valve 1 & 3). - 21st harmonic
