Its probably not hard for the Kami Band..the girls can dance anything. Honestly don't know why they don't play it live. But actually they stopped playing a lot of songs.. I’ve learned hiragana, katakana and am now into kanji... but my vocabulary is very limited... one day, hopefully, I’ll be able to put it all together... hope you do, too.
@@kevinhiggins7838 Jesus you are way ahead of me lol. I’m only working on hiragana as of now. Isn’t kanji not really used except in remote areas of Japan?
You need to watch the tokyo dome concert. Playing there was a dream come true for Su. Also that was where they rode the platform above the audience, which they said was very nervous for then but they loved being able to see the crowd
Great reaction! Dream Theater had been my favourite band for two decades, and this sounds exactly like them (with the exception of the voices, that make it even more awesome). The piano interlude and outro are 100% Jordan Rudess. I love that outro! Now, if you take the aural pleasure you felt during the outro and try to imagine a visual equivalent, that’s what you‘ll see when you watch the performance of this song and The One at the Tokyo Dome show. I‘m tearing up just thinking about it. I don‘t have a link at hand, but I‘ll get back to you once I have. Please check that out, it’s a fantastic experience! BTW, if you don‘t know it already, the song Halloween from the band Helloween is a masterpiece, too. Very much recommended!
I was curious to look for Babymetal covers and found a "1920's Jazz" style of Gimme Choko and it is AMAZING, it takes Babymetal wtf to another level. Have a look if ever want to do something totally different for Babymetal Monday
A song like this made Babymetal already a legend in it's own lifetime. Genius. And seeing this performed live shows again how intricate the girls are to the success of this band. Them being able to make a complex piece of music like this come alive on stage with their dancing and singing is simply wonderful.
I was really lucky to be able to see this song and dance live. I got goose bumps ... I want to see your reaction of the live performance at Tokyo Dome.
If you're looking for Halloween themed songs from Babymetal you may have to go pre-Babymetal. How about Pumpkin Parade from Sakura Gakuin? ua-cam.com/video/cgmd1BH2rH0/v-deo.html OK, it's not exactly scary but Sakura Gakuin is where Babymetal came from so it's a requirement to see them perform at least once. :) If you watch close you will see Yui and Moa in this one.
We love you guys. I hope every monday for your reactions cuz I can see they are real and it is funny to watch cuz actually those were my first reactions in every song.
Guess you've had your first taste of prog-metal huh ? Not only that, Kawaii Prog-Metal :D. It's not so much that there are many genres but more a huge bunch of time signatures and the song is meant to have a "progression". Prog-metal isn't for everybody but I sure enjoy that a lot and it seems you did too ! :). Also, yeah they've only performed this once and most probably because of how hard it is for anyone involved, be it the musicians, the prod team or even the girls with all these time changes. It's a tough challenge for anyone but they did it just to prove that they can do it :D. I mean... I know it would get instantly blocked if you tried it, but I still highly recommend that you do react to the 20-minutes video of when they played it live. It is truly one of their most masterful moment in their History. The famous 55k filled Tokyo Dome with Tales of the Destinies followed by The One. You need to see it and you need to film your reaction. I don't care if you have to upload it to Patreon but you need to watch it and film yourselves doing it. It's mindblowing and I think it's time you get to see the best of BABYMETAL. Just in case, here's the link : vk.com/video408956197_456239019 Enjoy !!
Oh and for what it's worth Smokey & Hollywood, your reactions are much better than We Skeem's. Don't worry you aint losing my views over his lol. ...But I'll still hate you if you don't do Tales live at Tokyo Dome :D (jk).
They did live once and you have to see it. The opening is like no other opening to a song. The production that went into the opening and in this song is something else. Like others have said this goes into The One. When the crowd came into the stadium everybody was given a neck brace and all were lit up going from Tales into the One. Awesome sight.
Thanks for the great reaction as always. I really enjoyed you reacting to the Tales of the Desinies song. It's like a rollercoaster ride, right? Yes, we do celebrate Christmas although the Christians are about 1% of the population. And there are more and more people enjoying Halloween, too, dressing in Halloween costumes in Tokyo.
This song is BOTH trick AND treat, fitting for Halloween. You were not wrong with Megaman final boss comparison. This song is like going through boss rush, than facing three different forms of dr Willy and it bridges to The One which is credits (to the fanbase) song. Great reaction as always my Bros! BABYMETAL 🤘🦊🤘
I think they tried to write a song that was impossible to perform live, and put it on the album. The performers defiantly put on a flawless performance of this song, but I think it took years off of the lives of the girls and the Kami band, so it could only be performed once 🤘🦊🦊🦊🤘
this became my favorite so dam fast after hearing alot more songs from their discography this song is so fcking sick and the lead up to the one is unbeatable .
PLAYEDOnly 2x.this is a fucking MASTERPIECE....ALL AROUND.THIS IS SCHOOL LESSON TO ALL.FDTD fo holloween on sang 2× as well Queen SUZUKAs voice range is amazing
If you think the music would be damn near impossible to play live, imagine coming up with a choreography for it and then for the girls to dance it. Yeah a few time changes... Watch the video Stéphane M posted.
In Japan they do celebrate Halloween just in a different way for instance in Tokyo Shibuya a massive crowd of about 1 million + people in costumes of various types gather every year And just have an awesome time partying probably not this year though due to the virus which is sad And they do celebrate Christmas but in a different way in 1974 KFC came up with a marketing idea the Christmas bucket which starts off at about $50 and goes on up to a little over a hundred dollars depending on what you get in the bucket you can get chicken turkey roast beef various types of desserts and other fixings And they do the whole gift exchange thing also anyways thank you very much for the awesome reaction much appreciated
I always like when someone racting this song , Tales of Destenies is a masterpiece song from Metal Resistance , i mean they are reacting the song audio version, not MV or Live version, so they really like the music. And that's piano in the end will continue to song "The One" . Great Reaction🤘🦊😁
Great reaction as always. & congratulation both of you completing reaction of all songs from BM's first album 'BABYMETAL' AND 2nd album 'Metal Resistance' except the one last song from 2nd album - META TARO. Fun song as well and I hope you could react it in very near future. Talking about 'BABYMETAL Monday' from your channel, and you did mention few weeks ago. Here I share my thoughts about it: I always appreciate both of you the enthusiasm and efforts and time to cover all BM songs so far. I've seen lots of BM reactions from various youtubers' reaction channel. I'd say 'BABYMETAL Monday' is one of my few (very few) most favorable reaction channel. Couples of reasons behind - We all know BM video reactions are quite easily blocked by UA-cam or Amuse (the label the BM under). Some just don't want to take the risk from screwing up their own channel or have enough for this so giving up finally. Or they switch to using the "link & sync" method which I personally feel inconvenience for people watching (at least you couldn't watch it by your phone using this method) The systematic approach of reaction. Not many (very very few) to take the whole journey. My another favorable BM reaction channel was using "vote for the next song" back few years ago. It was also a good fun. I don't mind it takes such a long period of time to complete provided it's fun to watch. I've seen quite a few youtubers take 2 or 3 days (or less than a week) to complete the whole discography of BM and I'd think, well, their channel do lack of some contents and views and do need a build up... Of course many reaction channels are not only for BM, some do react to 2, 3, 4... songs and then disappear and I do understand. OK for me. So my bottom line is: Forget other 'BABYMETAL xxxday' channels, don't give it a damp xxxx, just do what both of you want to do and like to do. Anyway, already too long to read, thank you both your love and support for BABYMETAL. STAY METAL!!! STAY SAFE!!!
The legendary Tales of the Destinies! It's an amazing song, and the little choreography Moa and Yui do at 6:46 (the little piano section) is cute as hell. Amazing video as always! BTW, is there a change you guys can upload Awadama Fever on another site? I love that song and it got blocked before I could watch it :(
That was greatness! It's fun having your head explode, right? I couldn't stop laughing at , "They're trying to kill us!" Make sure you watch the link others have provided for the ToTD and The One at Tokyo Dome. It is unbelievable. Kitsune Up! 🤘🦊🤘
Love to see your reaction to them doing this then going into the One at Tokyo Dome a very emotional performance and dont forget they had courography to this 🤘🦊🤘
Another commenter mentioned it, but this is straight up a homage to dream theater. This is very much scenes from a memory by dreamtheater. That whole album slays
10:22 yes they once performed this live at Tokyo Dome a few years ago, all the audience there including me had goosebumps, they played out even better than this studio work. the late mikio fujioka played even the keiboad part on his guitar. was just incredible literally
Christmas is celebrated in Japan - it's rather popular actually. The difference is it's not a religious holiday there. One of the more interesting Christmas traditions there is to have KFC for Christmas dinner.

Great reaction (as usual), thanks! Absolutely mind blowing song. I didn't get it at first, but then I watched the only live performance followed by "The ONE" as closing number at the Tokyo Dome and all made sense inmediately. I review it from time to time like a work of art (a masterpiece, actually). We love you too! hahaha... See you next time!
There is 1 live version and it leads into The One. It's a magical transition and a visual spectacle. I have seen grown men reacting to it brought to tears. Worth watching even if you can only put it on your Patreon. All links to the video seem to be dead. I'll see if I can find one somewhere and get it to you.
Please do your self a favor as others have stated the live version( ONLY PLAYED ONCE ) is the one to listen to. Don't bother trying to play that video to react to because it will get taken down. You can play it without showing us the video, only you can see it. If not just check it out on your own, you wont be sorry.
The piano ending to this song is the intro to their other song, The One. If you want to listen to a hugely underrated song of theirs, you better listen and react to From Dusk Till Dawn.
I really really hope you guys check out the live version of this at Tokyo Dome which then leads into the song The One. The piano interlude is even better on it. Just watch in your own time, no need to reaction. (will probably get blocked anyway). Just have a loud sound system and big screen. :)
15:28 Lol scheming or skeem-ing? I sense some reaction channel drama. Anyway, I really enjoyed this reaction. I don't think you guys have reacted to 'Shine' from their latest album yet. It's a slower one like The One (but better imo). Here's a good live compilation ua-cam.com/video/VsNgGF47YZo/v-deo.html
That's not "Mega man X" that is "The One", like the piano part at the end. At the Tokyo Dome show when that guitar part played, the audience started cheering because they knew what it was. "The One will be with you"
So, a guy named Michael Walker told me to come to 14:10 of this video. This is the first time I've heard of you. Sad truth, Babymetal Monday is something I came up with in 10 seconds. I'm big on naming days. I've done tier list Thursday, Tantrum Tuesday, Whatever Wednesday, Suck it Saturday, etc. etc. etc. Blindsight introduced me to Babymetal. Sidenote: I don't hide my face. I wear a mask because of the music, see yourself in me instead of seeing me. You've made a lot of very silly assumptions, but I'll look the other way. Anyway, this is completely coincidental. Watched some of your reaction, it's pretty good. Keep doing your thing.
UPDATE: Mrs Skeem informed me I grilled a song of yours called "Lyrical Assassination" on a livestream. So I guess I'd heard of you without knowing I'd heard of you. In any case, keep showing love to Babymetal.

How is the learning process coming along for you
You need to watch the tokyo dome concert. Playing there was a dream come true for Su.
Also that was where they rode the platform above the audience, which they said was very nervous for then but they loved being able to see the crowd
The transition to the next song in album "The One" is beautiful.
This song is like an amusement park ride.
I was curious to look for Babymetal covers and found a "1920's Jazz" style of Gimme Choko and it is AMAZING, it takes Babymetal wtf to another level. Have a look if ever want to do something totally different for Babymetal Monday
Its from “Postmodern Juke Box"
Oohh guys!! You need watch this performance live!! Is absolutely Amazing!!! Great great reaction again!! See you in the next 🤟🏻🦊
You need to watch the live version, its even more fun. Plus it leads into one of their more loved songs you have already covered.
Japan do celebrate Halloween and Christmas too
If you're looking for Halloween themed songs from Babymetal you may have to go pre-Babymetal.
YES I've been suggesting that one for ages !
We love you guys. I hope every monday for your reactions cuz I can see they are real and it is funny to watch cuz actually those were my first reactions in every song.
Just so you know, because of your great reaction, I pulled out my Tokyo Dome DVDs and listened to the whole thing. Thanks guys ^_^
Just in case, here's the link :

Enjoy !!
Oh and for what it's worth Smokey & Hollywood, your reactions are much better than We Skeem's. Don't worry you aint losing my views over his lol.
...But I'll still hate you if you don't do Tales live at Tokyo Dome :D (jk).
This song is a musical suite.
so you may listen with "The One".
end of this song piano part, you can find intro of "The One".
The two best left is akasuki unfinished, which is akasuki with just a backing piano, and animation for you
They did live once and you have to see it.
This was a funny reaction to watch lol but it was great 👍🏼
This song is BOTH trick AND treat, fitting for Halloween.
You were not wrong with Megaman final boss comparison.
This song is like going through boss rush, than facing three different forms of dr Willy and it bridges to The One which is credits (to the fanbase) song.
Great reaction as always my Bros!
BABYMETAL 🤘🦊🤘
Hey guys for 13 days of Halloween do KING DIAMOND ‘Halloween’ 🤘🏼
Really enjoying you guys videos and genuine appreciation for the music. Thank you 🙏
I think they tried to write a song that was impossible to perform live, and put it on the album.
This is the best drug ever
PLAYEDOnly 2x.this is a fucking MASTERPIECE....ALL AROUND.THIS IS SCHOOL LESSON TO ALL.FDTD fo holloween on sang 2× as well Queen SUZUKAs voice range is amazing
It was only performed once.
That was at Tokyo Dome Red Night on September 19th, 2016.
@@rickwagner- thanks.
If you think the music would be damn near impossible to play live, imagine coming up with a choreography for it and then for the girls to dance it. Yeah a few time changes... Watch the video Stéphane M posted.
That scattered sound is called "Mathcore" because of its technical nature.
Hollywood 6IX I know that you love video games then you’re going to love Babymetal up down left right bbab!!
Cant wait to hear it
In Japan they do celebrate Halloween just in a different way for instance in Tokyo Shibuya a massive crowd of about 1 million + people in costumes of various types gather every year And just have an awesome time partying probably not this year though due to the virus which is sad And they do celebrate Christmas but in a different way in 1974 KFC came up with a marketing idea the Christmas bucket which starts off at about $50 and goes on up to a little over a hundred dollars depending on what you get in the bucket you can get chicken turkey roast beef various types of desserts and other fixings And they do the whole gift exchange thing also anyways thank you very much for the awesome reaction much appreciated
Holy shit! That started off like Dillinger Escape Plan!
I always like when someone racting this song , Tales of Destenies is a masterpiece song from Metal Resistance , i mean they are reacting the song audio version, not MV or Live version, so they really like the music. And that's piano in the end will continue to song "The One" . Great Reaction🤘🦊😁
Welcome to my favourite Babymetal song
Great reaction as always.
& congratulation both of you completing reaction of all songs from BM's first album 'BABYMETAL' AND 2nd album 'Metal Resistance' except the one last song from 2nd album - META TARO. Fun song as well and I hope you could react it in very near future.
Talking about 'BABYMETAL Monday' from your channel, and you did mention few weeks ago.
Here I share my thoughts about it:
I always appreciate both of you the enthusiasm and efforts and time to cover all BM songs so far. I've seen lots of BM reactions from various youtubers' reaction channel. I'd say 'BABYMETAL Monday' is one of my few (very few) most favorable reaction channel.
Couples of reasons behind -
We all know BM video reactions are quite easily blocked by UA-cam or Amuse (the label the BM under). Some just don't want to take the risk from screwing up their own channel or have enough for this so giving up finally. Or they switch to using the "link & sync" method which I personally feel inconvenience for people watching (at least you couldn't watch it by your phone using this method)
The systematic approach of reaction.
I am super sure this is was very much inspired by the "Scenes From a Memory" album by Dream Theater. Specifically "dance of eternity"
This! This is very much SFAM from DT. That whole album is amazing
This is one of their best , even better live(back in 2016 ;) )
And welcome to the world of Prog/Math Metal!! It is vast, technically and beautiful!!!
Its a masterpiece
The legendary Tales of the Destinies! It's an amazing song, and the little choreography Moa and Yui do at 6:46 (the little piano section) is cute as hell. Amazing video as always!
BTW, is there a change you guys can upload Awadama Fever on another site? I love that song and it got blocked before I could watch it :(
It is on patreon right now
Wish you could see the live performance. It is out of this world!!!
That was greatness! It's fun having your head explode, right? I couldn't stop laughing at , "They're trying to kill us!" Make sure you watch the link others have provided for the ToTD and The One at Tokyo Dome. It is unbelievable. Kitsune Up! 🤘🦊🤘
Love to see your reaction to them doing this then going into the One at Tokyo Dome a very emotional performance and dont forget they had courography to this
🤘🦊🤘
BEST HALLOWEEN SONG FOR YOU!!!! ICE NINE KILLS "STABBING IN THE DARK"!!!!!!!!!
Good reaction! If you like that instrument, you must listen From Dusk Till Dawn. That was epic instrument🔥
Watain-Reaping Death is a great way to celebrate Halloween. Any Watain song really.
Can you believe they played this live, and their performance was perfect?
Christmas is celebrated in Japan - it's rather popular actually. The difference is it's not a religious holiday there. One of the more interesting Christmas traditions there is to have KFC for Christmas dinner.
Huh didn’t know that. Well the more you know.
KFCs in Japan take pre-orders for "Christmas Party Barrels" of chicken, sides, and dessert. If you don't pre-order, you get NO CHICKEN.
@@foxgodrecords2752 darn. Just finished a nice breakfast of chorizo con huevos y queso and now I'm hungry for kfc chicken... I don't think they open up for another two and a half to three and a half hours. hopefully I can wait till then.

"Why why why" omg lmaoo
Bullet For My Valentine - Waking The Demon :)
Another babymetal again yey 🤘🏿🦊
Nice reaction guys for prog metal 🤘🏿
Solid badass heaviness!
The beginning also has a sped up version of The One
Tales Of The Destinies like Dream Theater song , Progresive Metal 🦊🦊🦊
I really really hope you guys check out the live version of this at Tokyo Dome which then leads into the song The One. The piano interlude is even better on it. Just watch in your own time, no need to reaction. (will probably get blocked anyway). Just have a loud sound system and big screen. :)
Good Halloween Tracks from BM are Rondo of a Nightmare and Catch me if you can.
Awesome reaction as always 😍🎉🔥
15:28 Lol scheming or skeem-ing? I sense some reaction channel drama.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this reaction. I don't think you guys have reacted to 'Shine' from their latest album yet. It's a slower one like The One (but better imo). Here's a good live compilation ua-cam.com/video/VsNgGF47YZo/v-deo.html
Thanks alot bro, also thanks for the sending the link
That's not "Mega man X" that is "The One", like the piano part at the end. At the Tokyo Dome show when that guitar part played, the audience started cheering because they knew what it was.
"The One will be with you"
Definitely "Rondo of Nightmare" for actual Halloween
@@WeSkeem Man as rappers we love a good beef but since you came at us like that... we cant hate! I respect how you handled this (even if it takes the fun out of it)
Im wondering tho, if thats the same commenter who pointed you out to us. hmmm... dont remember right off hand. Id have to find the comment lol Music is subjective. To each his own but I will say, we were doing this before UA-cam was even a thing. So if I do a flow that sounds like UA-cam rappers, just know I was doing it way before them. I would say maybe we could collab one day (But you dont like my flow lol)
@@trashtalksports6120 haha, I don't remember all too well. I'll take your word that I didn't like your flow in that song (I don't remember commenting on the flow). All I remember was not being super keen on some of the rhyme choices, that's about it. I'm not one for beef though. Not my bag. If it's the right track, a collab is always possible. There are artists I've worked with that have plenty of songs out there I don't care for.
@@WeSkeem First and foremost you handled this properly and for that we say thank you...Secondarily we understand the art of music and it being completely subjective in every way possible so no love lost there either. We have been making music for a very long time and as being an artist your self I'm sure you can understand about being sensitve about the content we create. Anyway keep up the good work bro and let's keep the babymetal name alive. I think our subs would enjoy it if we did a collab together, let's talk. Atlboy2g5@gmail.com
How many time signatures do you want?
Babymetal: Yes
That made my everything explode
On December 20,2020 will be Su-Metal 23rd birthday
I'm glad you enjoyed your first taste of Progressive Metal. You should try some Dream Theater, the band that introduced me to the magic of progressive rock and metal and my favorite band in the world. The Dark Eternal Night is a great song to start with or maybe Panic Attack.
I am going to let you in on something. In the BabyMetal world we do not say the word Monday, we say Moanday. Tuesday is Tyuisday, and Sunday is Su-nday.
Lol I like it
Should put Hollywood Mega Man 1-5 has some of the most sophisticated music ever made!
Dude it does, also Mega Man X3 has some good music too. Check out blizzard buffalo theme music
@@Hollywood6IX right on I will! learning Pharaoh Man on guitar it’s amazing
@@Hollywood6IX whoa just listened to that MM3 song you recommended and it sounds so familiar especially the back end tail part that creeps up the scale to a half step under the root. that note gives it a suspense feel a lot of musicians don’t like using it cuz it sounds wrong so they’ll skip from a full step to the root sounds like some stuff I’ve been working on but I know I’ve never heard the song before that’s crazy never got into the X’s as much as I should have maybe I will now didn’t have snes growing up.. leave it to Mega Man thanks for the suggestion!
