Same here. My first concert was a Megadeth show in '98. Sevendust just happened to be on the bill and they blew me away. Since then, they've been one of my favorite bands.
My favorite moment of this video is when Morgan points at the camera and then we see Vince's sly face slowly turning to see the camera. Or when Clint starts randomly dancing.
I definitely agree with you there. They're an amazing band, and no matter what they put out it always turns out great, but Animosity is definitely THE album.
yes they do. its apples and oranges. clint was moving on, as was dust. you gotta look at it this way; we now have 2 killer bands with immense amounts of talent i would say sevendust has gotten way better at writing post-clint
7Dust is 10 times better than bands selling out arenas. (Nickelback, Godsmack, Seether) There is absolutely no reason that Lajon shouldn't be a household name, but I think they've had bad luck with bad record labels and management from what I've read. Their live show is UNfreakingBELIEVABLE!
animosity was damn good, one of my favs, but it seemed to be more akin to that current rock scene at the time when it was released. not to say its selling out, but just not the same balls that #1, and HOME had. next and alpha seem to be NAILING that first 7dust vibe that they seemed to have lost in early 2000s. i would go so far as to say with sonny taking clints place, the band has skyrocketed in tonal characteristics! clint is much more suited to his style with Dnd.
I wouldn’t say so white, I’ll admit as a kid, hearing Sevendust for the first time I thought it was a white guy, I never knew of any black men lead singing in a rock band (or didn’t think much of it)…but I’m 25 now, and I can hear the “blackness” in his singing, and definitely in his talking
But no one “sounds white”, everyone’s accent comes from culture and where they grew up in…look at people like Idris Elba, he doesn’t “sound black” at all, he was born in the UK, duh lol
This is their most shit record according to the band especially Morgan because it was done out of obligation practically forced on them if not the label would drop them, other pple were brought in to write songs which pissed off the band and I agree it was their worst record oh and btw Morgan says Home was their second worst and Hope n Sorrow their 3rd worst so hate to crap on pples corn flakes! Morgan's words not mine but I do agree w his opinion on Seasons
man morgan rose is one of the most solid drummers there is. AND he can scream like a champ. respect for ya.
Very Underated 7Dust record
Lajon is my favorite singer in modern rock. His voice is versatile.
This is my all time favorite song from my all time favorite band!!!
Love it all.......Still my Fave Album...
animosity may have been their peak, but they haven't slowed or lost their control. still amazing as ever.
this song is fucking awesome. everytime i hear it, it's like i'm hearing for the first time.
Agreed, it’s one of those songs that never ages

I'm not gonna lie. Next and Alpha are damn good albums but I feel Their peak was Animosity.
he looks a lot cooler with his dreads
You paying attention to the little things lol
lol morgan @ 0.57 he he he :P
seasons was there commercial like album animosity was almost there but not too commercial like
The best album besides Linkin Park
@ Bernstock
QUOTED FOR UTMOST TRUTH.

You think alpha was the best??????? Seasons was amazing and animosity was the best.
que?
I'd like to see the one person that dislikes this song make one better....
wtf is up with that kitten :/
2 people are either tone deaf or just plain failures in life.
I agree but I out of all their albums, Seasons is by far the least metal. Good album but not as good as Animostiy, Alpha or Next imo.
hes black and sounds so white!
J Brown 🤔 really
