- Reading the Bible is so important for us to do with our children! Having a variety of children's Bibles for every age and stage is so helpful. Today I'm sharing some of the Bibles that we've purchased over the years and used with our kids (ages 1, 4, 6, 8). I'll show you inside each one and give you my suggested age recommendation. Glad to hear you’re enjoying that one! The Egermeier’s Bible is also a great one for family Bible reading aloud. My husband has gifted it several times to new believers at his workplace. 🤗
Our favorite one for birth to elementary (other than the Action Bible for older) is the Read and Learn Bible printed by Scholastic for the American Bible Society. A balance of engaging pictures and more accurate text.

This was great, Deanna! We have almost all of these 😊 My kids have gone through seasons where they listen to the Big Picture Bible cds over and over again, and have almost all the words memorized when I read to them!

You have a very impressive Bible Collection Young Lady, I’m definitely going to check out the Egermier’s Bible Story Book it looks more suitable for someone my age, by the way there’s another Bible that I’d like to recommend its called The Golden Children’s Bible.

We love the Action bible. Ezra loves it too. I wasn't sure if it would maybe be a little too 'grown up' for him but he picks up so much from it (so do I 😂). We have the big picture bible and the Jesus story book bible too - it's nice to have a little variety because they all bring something a little different 😊 XX

I bought the egermeier’s bible, this is the kind of bible I was looking for my 8 year daughter, she loves it.

This is so helpful! I love the Jesus Storybook Bible but have found it to be a little long so I liked your tip that it might be better for older kids. We have several Children's Bibles, but my son loves the 5 minute Bedtime Bible stories.

Check out your local Goodwill; they usually have used bibles and they’ll be super affordable. Also the YouVersion Bible App is a great way to read and listen to the Bible. 💁🏼♀️
What bible do you recommend for a teenager easy to read
The NIV is a thought for thought translation that is great for easy readability. That’s the translation I have for my tween daughter. We got her a “thinline” Bible. amzn.to/32kDfRH If your teen is ready for more serious Bible study, then an ESV or NASB would be great word for word translations to consider. I really enjoy having a study Bible that has footnotes that help give context and further clarification to what I’m reading. The MacArthur Study Bible is one we have enjoyed using.
