I'm glad there's a few people out there who still care about these wonderful songs. Glad also to be of help. I'll keep at it. BTW--requests are helpful. ;-)
@@modfather1965lots definitely care, are you aware of the podcast a lot of his friends and family talking about the jam days, Desperately seeking Paul. Just mentioning as your in America and not sure if you knew.
@@andydug I am aware of it... I run a Facebook Jam group called "The Jam Appreciation Society" and Desperately Seeking Paul often gets a promo there. ;-)
I'm sure when I saw them Paul used a telecaster for Tales from the Riverbank, mind I saw them a lot from 79 - 82 , at least every tour either Portsmouth, Southampton or London and it was a long time ago.
Indeed, it was a long time ago, but I think you're probably right about the Tele... Great bright sound, esp. with the chorus effect going. You're a lucky man... ;-)
Hey, thank you so much for the videos. Haven't caught up with you on the rickenbacker collection yet but hope to! So, I got a way of playing you do something with me which sounds great until you get to the bridge. Open e/m up to the 4th fret, then the 5th. An open d /sus. Open c moved up to 3 rd fret then back to an open c chord. None of the tab sites say that and I'm wondering how to move onto the bridge in this key. Any suggestions? Appreciate your videos.
Great to have someone who breaks Jam songs down. Helps a lot.

Love that you consider this in high regard. Hidden gem - absolute classic. Great lesson and love your guitars
It's an incredible song, one of my favourite jam songs. I love the live video with the yellow Tele and Denim Jacket and Pauls best haircut.
Yeah thats great, isnt it. I love the studio version. I think it's a thing of absolute beauty...
That Rick sounds amazing. Great vid.
Thanks for your comment. 😎
Thanks for the lesson. One of my favourite Jam songs. Cheers.
Sure thing. Thanks for the support.
Brilliant!
That US EP release that he speaks of is one of the greatest EPs ever, in my opinion. Search it out.
John, great work on a great song and the direction the band should have gone in but...........we got The Bitterest Pill......
Hey David... I get what you're saying about that. However, I'm one of those saps who actually loves The Bitterest Pill... 😉
Kinda Halloween-esque
I like it
Hey... Nice observation, sis. I'd never thought of that. 😎

Great question... I'll look into it.
