I saw them on Jun 2 in Phoenix literally one week after this show and it was so much better than this one. It should be noted that Rad City's drummer and two ladies were brand new to the live band at this point though. Anyway, they ended the show in PHX with a Friends of P medley that included the Ghostbusters song and Matt (dressed up as Egon) chased the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man around the audience. It was great. They also played an entire song while standing on the audience floor in the middle of everyone. Plus the sound and lighting were much better at The Crescent Ballroom in PHX.
Are you freakin' kidding me? I'm from Austin but had moved to the UK and I didn't have enough money to make it back to the States for these shows. If I had any way, I would have been at all of them. I wish Matt knew I was his density. Sorry, I have been Matt obsessed since I was 16.
I'm super jealous of you, I cannot lie. You're so lucky. I was lucky to be at their last show in LA in 1999 and then at 2 of their 2006 reunion shows. And I even saw Matt's 2003 acoustic tour, there were maybe 10 people there. It killed me to miss it. I saw him every tour he ever did, every band he was with. I'll shutup now. Do you by any chance have any video or photo of him as Egon?
