Five minutes in and I LOVE this video! The song, the snake, the special effects on the voice . . . Great job, JP! EDIT: You got me good! I was already thinking that's too many snakes and I'd quit if it were my job to go in there. !!!!
Nice colony there JP, glad you rescued them! And yes, you definitely got me. Bad JP!! LOL. Always love to get the after swarm progress report, fun to see them adjusting. Thank you, great video!
JP, I don’t know why I find your videos so fascinating. I am so entranced . Your handling of the bees and your explanations are so amazing. Your ability to spot the queen is really something ( I can never spot the Queen). The minute I saw that snake, I would have been out. If there were any type of rodent ( I hate any times of rodents, PERIOD ), the bees would still be there. Well done.
Thank you JP, fantastic job on the cutout mate and it’s so nice we get to see them thriving in their new 10 frame set up. And yes you got us with your cat friend jumping out on us like that. Thank you JP for sharing your vlog with us my friend.
The follow-up “after” like in this video is all that’s missing from otherwise excellent UA-cam content. Finally subscribed today because of this addition.
My favorite memory of Louisiana is a water moccasin that somehow managed to get in to the house and was just hanging out behind a dresser in the bedroom. Just another weird, dangerous day in the bayou state...
JP Thank you for another Excellent video along with advice for keepers of bees. I don't have any myself although I would love to. I do enjoy feeding them off my backyard deck. :) Take care and have a great week.
I did a lot of handyman work for the elderly (I'm there now myself today) and I think back to all the times bees were buzzing around me as I worked and other than a few wasps stinging me I just ignored the bees and they ignored me. Thanks for the video. 👍👍👍🍻
haha JP dropping fire in the intro xDDD love it! Very fun and educational video as usual from the man :) Great personality also I love snakes thank you for being so friendly and not hurting it :)
Taking note, don't drink anything while watching JP's videos now. I need to take my keyboard apart and clean coffee out of it. Also, anyone that doesn't watch the videos fully and assumes anything of the nature of harm really needs to remember the old saying, "To assume without facts shows ignorance." JP would never harm a bee if he can help it. He does everything he can to help them thrive a in a good life.
Hi JP another interesting removal 😀 Here in southern UK we only had 18% of expected rainfall, hardly any April showers. Just shows that we & the bees are at the mercy of the elements but I'm sure that are doing well now May is here. May be an ideal colony for a beginner to learn/improve their beekeeping skills with.
Bless You for caring about bees, without them we wouldn't have flowers, fruit, or vegetables. These prolific pollinators are in disposable to our environment.
I saw her 8:31 ish just below the cut walking left then she went up between the remaining comb & the one u had cut more left 💛🖤💛🐝. Love ur videos JP....
I like watching your video's. I also really like it when I here the bee's talk to you, that is so cool. would like to see more video's. keep up the good work
We found a swarm on a tree in sept the size of a pint jar and we managed to get them through winter in or. They are just now at three frames. The fall robbing was the thing I fought the most as I tried to feed. The queen looks exactly like yours.
JP keep up your good works! Love your videos. My Sister hit a swarm of Bees crossing a four lane Highway yesterday in Ohio. She slammed on the breaks. Almost got rear ended. She felt so bad, said she didn’t see the Queen on the windshield. I told her that Queen could lay 2000 or so eggs a day. She was still sad the whole day. We love are bees 🐝 ❤️
Thank goodness she didn't get hit. Although that would have been an interesting report on it. Glad she didn't see the queen either. The queen's probably just fine.
JP your my teacher and keep on watching every minute of your videos. Small caribbean island man turn Beeman.my first swam been doing great.keep videos come .
I would jump at the opportunity to be a second pair of hands for you. You are amazing with bees and I would love to experience that in real time. You make a stressful situation for those gals calming.
Hi jp. We used to have rattlers around my house. Lol. 🐝n awhile since I have watched your vlog. I miss my girls. They were nice and calm. I was able to mow the yard and and pass by them (within 5) feet. I had to sell them at the time, thought I was going to move 😪.

You can tell I went into PTSD mode afterward 'cause I was half-expecting another jump scare later in the video when you were showing us that one frame and asking if we could see the queen...... Maybe I shouldn't be giving you ideas. 😆 @20:58 - the J-hook hive tool does look like it can do everything. I bet you can even use it to flip pancakes during incessant rainy periods where it's impossible to do hive inspections. 🌧️🥞😁
You were wrong for that JP. I screamed and woke up my husband. 😆 The bees seem like they’re doing better with you than their previous location. Unless your flow literally just came on or something but they definitely seem to be storing more honey in the short time you’ve had them than before
Mr. Jp I wanted to ask you sir? Have you encountered other open air colonies that are huge and aggressive. To the point where its nearly impossible to relocate the colony please sir?
That jump scare was more frightening than anything in the new Resident Evil game, LOL.

My 4 year old specifically requested a JP the Bee Man video, and loved the jump scare, even had me pause to talk about how funny it was.

When bees make a new hive how long does it take them to produce honey and fill the cells?
Watching your videos warns my heart. Thank you.
Loved the updates. I like to see where they built from the original comb to the frames.
Question: will they adapt to any hive and be allowed to move to different boxes as they grow in size? Have a great day
They adapted just fine, went into winter in four boxes, one deep plus three mediums, strong gentle hive.
Ty that was great. JP I’m so happy about the way you handle the bees. I just love watching your videos.
that intro music hella fire🔥

Thanks, I enjoyed the capture, but seeing the follow up of the bees settled in gives the capture closure.
A different approach is to keep bees on their brood comb, vac at the end for returned field bees. Thin long filet knife makes slicing comb easy peasy.

Thanks for another great video J.P.
I’d rather have a rat snake problem than a rat problem. There’s a rat snake that lives in my hedges and I don’t bother it. I’m glad it’s there.
This guy just amazes me! And I loved his gotcha too. I hope he found that huge rat snake. I am a bit confused by the title of this video.
