I live for take down videos. I keep u-part wig cornrows in for 3 months at a time....and they have saved my fine hair. I credit my length to low manipulation. I wish my skin wasn't so oily so I could learn to lay lace wigs.
How is your leave out doing? I was thinking about doing that but I dont wanna break my leave out off.
I can’t do u-part wigs. My leave got so damaged. I started buying laces and headband wigs. I braided it down and my leave out grew back in 3-4 months. Fast.
@@prettystreetchic my leave out is doing well. I wear kinky curly uparts and twist or braid my leave out and then tuck some of it into my wig to blend or Dutch braid or flat twists my sides into the weave hair.
@@TheDivaIsIntheDetails oh ok...no str8 styles. Where do you get your hair/wigs?
@@TheDivaIsIntheDetails where do you get the curly u part from
I took down my 5 month cornrows and Omg the thickness and length retention is everything this is what works for me 😊
They didn’t loc up?
@@Alexander-wq7qo no
@@DeeCaramelBeauty how ?? What did you do so that it did not loc up
@@E.Cerulean for me I just kept oiling it so I guess the oil made my hair greasy overall and it didn’t loc up
@@DeeCaramelBeauty thank you!! Daily oiling ? Which oil
Just took my braids out , had them in 4 months and my hair has gotten so thick where it was thinned out by hairstylists ( that don't care for natural hair). My edges are 100% back full. Couldn't be happier 😊. Not letting anyone touch my head no more.
I try to do this but all i can do it 6-8 weeks. I love to wash and condition my hair. More power to yall that can pull this off!
Ugh me too! But I’m going to try for 3 months this year to reach waist length hair
@@Aniexo_ me too...if i dont im cutting it off to start from scratch! Good luck to you!
@prettystreetchic I have to wash my hair regularly too, so I choose styles that allow me to do that without having to take down my hair, like braids. Mini braids take a longer time to get frizzy and old so I often go for that.
I had a baby and I had individual crochet locs in and because life got so busy with new baby life, I really did not have the time to take them out.. eventually after 3 months my oldest daughter helped me to take them out and the length was amazing I could have had healthier hair if I had conditioned it or put it in a bonnet… will do it again until Christmas.. locs works well because it looks ok when it’s messier
You can wash and deep condition your hair Ina my natural style, I never understand why ppl neglect their hair for months on end, and no matter what anyone says I don’t believe it doesn’t stink, I mean who’s gonna tell you? The girl behind you at the checkout line? Even people’s family and friends be feeling awkward and don’t wanna tell them they stink.
The longest av had braids in is 6 months... With a mix of okra and aloe gels I had easy time to detangle. My hair was almost to my waist and full, it was so big I had heads turning to me on the way to the Salon😅😅😅😅.. I am now in another 9 months journey😅😅😅😅..
It's crazy but I want it down to my waist.
gels, not jells
Thank you ❤️
Woah amazing! I leave my braids in for 5/6 months too since my big chop and I can not do this without being in the shower lmfao. Your right, everyone heads different!
That silicone mix deep conditioner has really brought my hair to life! 😊 I discovered it this year n I love that line of products! 🎉
I would definitely recommend the African pride pre shampoo when taking down your hair to lessen breakage and add some slip since your hair was matted. Of course different things work for different people but something that I’ve noticed is that when the hair is in a tangled state and it’s being combed pr brushed while dry it’ll be more susceptible to breakage than if it had some slip to allow the shed hairs to come out easier
Was waiting on thisssss!!! Helped me so much!!
Yay! Glad I was able to help 🥰
I need motivation to keep my braids in for at least 3 months
Think of the results sis. It’s trying I did it twice back to back and after 1.5 months I be bought to loose it. But the results are worth it ❤️
@Model_mantra do you just redo wigs over the same braids?
Do what works for you. I don’t have time to army fight the tangles of over 1 month
I go 2-3 months without taking my braids down so imma definitely try that tea spray. I usually just use water & conditioner to detangle my hair.. i used to use rice water but ehhh i hate the smell even after adding scents to it
Just purchase the tea rinse spray. Installed 8 cornrows (4 on each side). Looking to retain some fullness after this attempt to keep my cornrows for 3-6 months.
I have mini braids in no weave added. They are done so nicely I might try and go this long with them in. Lord I hope it’s ok 😅.
I love ❤mini braids but there so time consuming..& thanks for this comment I know what..I'm gone do now when I take my 2 months old braids out.
Don’t leave them in this long. They will loc. This works better on larger braids
You will lose all your hair girl
Same I can’t wet my Braid it will lock! Almond oil saturate my braids then a YES A silicone serum for slip !
I can never leave it I so long I would have dreads. A month is even too much for me I’ll end up ripping out the growth. But ima watch this video though
I think detangled with oil n fingers… then when the braids out u could use water n conditioner section by section. But again I haven’t waited this long
But okay length
Can’t believe you were able to detangle your hair in under 8 business days. I could not have
I recently did my big chop did a short bob cut to my jaw line I cant wait to see my 1 year growth 😊
you’re going to love it!!!!
@@ARIEBRIANNA I know I can’t wait do u suggest wigs until then?
@@sashaslifestyle Wigs, Braids.. anything that wont have your hands in your hair constantly. Also be sure to oil your scalp when needed
@@ARIEBRIANNA ok thank you my wig braids in now dont even touch my neck🥴🫠😂😂😂😂i was almost bra strap length
How’s it going? Any updates 🙈
I just braided my hair a month ago. I’m doing my 4-5 months wait time.
At least you still have your edges! ❤💯
Not “your head is bald and you have no edges”. She chose violence 😭😭😭😭
That part had my laughing!
You have some beautiful hair.❤
Thank you ♥️
I love watching yo take down videos .
Thank you 🤍
Why didn’t you do a length check at the end to show the growth??????
Hi beautiful, could you do a video on natural haircare and maybe do a roller set so we can see the full effect of your beautiful tresses? Much appreciated ☺️
you see i wanna do this but im scared of the take down process 😭i got mini twist in rn and im taking it out on New Years. So ittl bee a two-month-old takedown, but next time i put a set in my head imma leave it in for an extra month
Use deep conditioner leave to take it down. It want break and comb from. Top and soothing edges
Beautiful long hair ❤
Do you wash and condition during the 5-6 months while the braids are in? If I could do this I would!!! 😊
You can do that. I do it. You can braid your hair with weave then let them stay in as well while washing it. You have to moisturize you’re scalp daily with a growth oil and spray leave in conditioner. I wish my braids 2x a month.
Do you only spray the tea spray for those 3 months or do you oil scalp and apply other products?
No only use the spray when i’m taking out my braids. Oil my scalp whenever its itchy
An hour is nothing, and my hair isnt close to as long and thick as yours...yet. I hope to get down one hour to detangle my hair with minimal breakage. Your hair looks healthy
Awwwwww you are so cute i love your hair
Thank you 😆
@@ARIEBRIANNAyou are welcome queen
Do you wash your hair in the cornrows if so how many times
I have never worn a wig, but would like to try a couple. Any suggestions for a beginner ladies?
I'd recommend buying real hair as oposed to synthetic. Even thou its a bit expensive but its an investment that goes a long way. Also go for frontal wigs (they the ones that look like the hair is coming from your scalp)
I started wearing wigs a year ago and I started off with synthetic wigs to try different colours and to save money and as I got better I invested in human hair wigs. I recommend you get closures over frontals as their easy to put on and you can wear them glueless
She's holding one whole "wig" in both hands.
I ordered the tea rinse spray. I have not received a response from them as yet, however my card was debited.
How long hv u grown ur hair...ur hair is beautiful
Thank you ❤ Did my big chop about 5 years ago
I like how you grow your hair
You have beautiful hair.
44days in lets gooo🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
👠Arie Brianna, how do you usually moisturize your braided hair under the wigs❓
Just add oil to my scalp
@@ARIEBRIANNAdo you wash the oil out love? please lmk
@@nessaearthangelno you don't
Do you always keep ur braids or wigs on
And not touch ur hair for 5/6months?
And by only doing that grew ur hair that long?
Genetics matter too but basically that’s all she did. She doesn’t always leave them in for so long. Sometimes 1-3 months but leaving her hair alone helped her hair get so long
Can we get another take down video??
Loved your spirit
We need an update
I love ❤take down videos..Will be doing one as well after the 21 ..Will be 2 months of keeping my braids in look like they been in for longer than that 😂😂!! Need to find a natural hairstyle to do for it..
More of these🙏🏾
Dayum that’s a NICE wig I thought it was your hair 😮
Your hair long as ever .
I am struggling to get to a month and you are up to 5🤔🤔!!?
I will try to get up to 3 month one day 😂.
Love your hair
Thank you ♥️ lol you can do it!
Invest in a tangle teezer, unbrush, denman, will make your life much easier than using that comb😊
Chile...😄😄😄
I can't do no longer than 6- 7 weeks....
Nice
O didn't know this was a year ago
What’s the name of the spray you’re using please
Tea rinse spray
@@ARIEBRIANNA ah ok thanks sis. Did she change the packaging? Coz I don’t see anything that looks like what you were using isn’t he video
yeah she changed the packaging & bottles
GOD BLESS 🙏🙏💕💕
You are extremely beautiful ❤

Would you ever do vlogs?
