Your right ! My sister gets me tight screaming “my hair is falling out “ … like my guy ! You shed 50-100 strands a day , imagine 50-100 strands a day of shed hair trapped in your braids for 3-4 months 🤣???
IKR! One time I left my butterfly locs in for almost 3 months and on the take down, i had my mom help me and omg this woman was in full panic mode thinking that I was losing all my hair🤣 she even told me not to do protective styles anymore so I had to explain to her that my hair sheds. It was only a palm size amount which isn’t bad😂
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous sis, much love and respect and bless that hair. My hair is to my shoulders because of protective styling. I don't listen to no body because my hair is steady growing.
I was waiting on you to do another one of these. I need to get more wigs so I can try this. I refuse to dish out all the money just yet tho. Synthetic it’s gone be 😂
I long for such patience cause it's my first time to try a protective style and I decided to start with two months so its turning two months on 31 of January and that I when i will take it down. I hope I will take more months after seeing how these two months will be. But sis I have two questions for u, firstly, how did u take care of your hair during the four months? How often did u use the oil ? Hope u see this. Happy new year sis
Lmk how it is when you take it out! While my hair is braided up I oil my scalp whenever it feels dry or whenever it feels itchy, never use too much oil because you don’t want to clog your pores. Happy New Year ♥️
@@ARIEBRIANNA thank u sis. I will definitely let u know. It will be two months old on 30 of this month ( January) so I will take it down on the 31 or 1st of next month
@@ARIEBRIANNA hey sis. I am here to give a review, took my two months old cornrows down and I almost cried after seeing how much hair I shedded but definitely grew long. I wish I could send u a picture of the shedded hair cause it's too excessive 😭but would u recommend anything for me maybe to strengthen my hair? I am thinking of putting it back in cornrows again but I am kind of scared. Hope u see this
omg yay i’m glad you see growth!! yeah the shedding is noooo joke 😩 If you have IG you can just dm the picture. To strengthen your hair I would say to start deep conditioning your hair whenever you wash it.
I JUST took my cornrows down and my hair is long now so Im looking at this HUGE ball of hair on the floor like 😫 Omg this cant be normal but I had my braids in for 6 months sooo idk but it be lookin sooo bad
I did knotless braids last year for the first time and left them in for 4 months....and I almost called in sick due to a bad hair day due to the amount of hair shedding I had when I took the braids out! I had no clue that that amount of hair loss was "normal." It has deterred me from braids altogether or even trying to wear this $750 wig I bought. Hopefully, with more videos such as this, I will get over the trauma.
I do this too and honestly seeing the growth is mad satisfying everytime 😭 I be like wow leaving your alone and just oliling it really helps it grow alot at least for me
try a scalp anti itch cream they are a Godsend. i use head and shoulders royal oils anti dandruff cream, cantu apple cider vinegar root relief or sulfur 8 braid spray. hope this helps!
@@feliciamensah1349 you’re welcome! and nooo diy’s work. i use ayurvedic diys and while they have improved the health of my scalp, i personally haven’t found one for itchy scalp yet. 😭 peppermint essential oil helps a bit but for me it isn’t super long lasting.
I honestly felt like whoever cut your hair gave you a cut cut... your ends uneven & im guessing u had some split ends but it wasn’t bad to the point that they gave u a dramatic your hair was tailbone length after the cut your hair is lower mid back length they cut off too much 😒
I loveeee your content, especially the take down videos because of you I’ve been doing the same and see a huge different in my hair growth. I take my hair out in the shower (I soak my old braids) and use conditioner. I get less shedding because the hair is wet and has more slip. You should try it ❤
@@ARIEBRIANNA oh I know been a follower boo your hair still long AF but I know you’d be at least thigh length by now had you been getting your hair trimmed!!
Love you shouldn’t take your hair out dry especially after it’s been in a protective style for a while. So try to add some water and conditioner or aloe Vera before you start taking your hair down; makes the process so much easier and leave your hair so much softer. And it’s best to detangle with hair and some type of conditioner. That would make your detangling process easier less painful and you lose less hair. You have beautiful hair btw❤️
I really praise you for getting a proper trim/cut in between long term protective styles. Health over length ALWAYS!
She has nice hair.Try not to let da braids get that far gone.
I swear you’re the reason I keep my braids in for mad long cause the growthhhh hunny 😍😍 video was mad satisfying to watch
The growth be crazyyyy 🤪 thank you rayney 😘♥️
I agree.

Exactly this is why locked people have them very long because they keep all the dead hair
No fr and she still be having alot of hair left on her head like sis ur hair is not falling out 😂😂😂😂😂
I lose 6 handfulls of hair in only 2 month's. My mother thinks I'm going bald every washday, bless her 🤣🤣

Always try aloe Vera it’s an AMAZING detangler blend it with an oil or use aloe Vera juice
Ohhh sounds good! definitely going to try
Taking the hair down while it's a lil damp seems like it helps shedding & breakage

It's shedding. I'd be shocked if she didn't have a lot of hair lost. You shed 50 to 100 strands a day
