Getting on and off ladders at the roof level is always dicey for me. This is great for a homeowner/DIY’er that doesn’t use a ladder everyday. The extra weight doesn’t make a ton of difference since a ladder is rarely used for us and the extra stability is great for our inexperienced technique and ladder safety.
i have one of those aluminum multi function ladders and i use 40/80 extruded aluminum to make a very secure 6ft wide base mounted much higher on ladder for about half the price of 1 ultimate extender.... pro; its strong enough to tie a 5 gallon paint bucket and throw it sideways and it will just go tight then swing under ladder con; its a much slower set up
It appears from the link provided that it ($197) only has a single side unit but you are showing us a ladder with both sides - did you buy 2 units?? or are there packages that allow for both sides? for my folding werner I would need 4 packages $800? seems kinda expensive but so is being injured in a fall I suppose
Have you had any falls from a ladder? What ladder accessory would you use the most?
I’m a plumber who works alone this would be great for getting on roofs to check vents. I bet it’s 1 million dollars
I just checked, actually reasonable👍
Yes, I've worked alone on many roofs and this is something worth considering. A small price to pay vs being injured from a ladder accident.
That was a great video. Thank you!
I am going to look into buying both items.
Thanks, appreciate that!

I agree. I may have to see if there's a clamp for putting the ladder on a gutter, for extra support.
@@MarkThomasBuilder I wouldn't trust a gutter to save me
Great video Mark !! thanks
Very welcome!

😁👍
Yeah I’m not sold on this product either.
No problem, I appreciate your honest feedback, Ron.
What is it you don't like?
That ladder has to weigh to much, no thanks lol
That's why I went with the Quick Connect instead of the permanent mount stabilizers.
Introduced at $99. Now $300 😡
Oh wow!
