Yeah man, Metroid Prime's development was extremely hellish. It's insane that we got a masterpiece out of it. If you want to watch a good video about its development, I recommend Matt McMuscles's Wha Happun episode about Prime.
@vini64 I know I'm late, but Prime's development was very chaotic as hell, switch between 3rd to first, Retro's former president using the online infrastructure Nintendo gave to them to run a porn site, and the game only having two years of development along it having to live up to Super Metroid. It went on to be one of the most important games of all time, the 6th best selling GameCube game and 2nd highest in the franchise, right behind Metroid Dread, has a 97 on Metacritic, making it one of the highest rated games of all time and causing the 2000's Metroid Renaissance along with Fusion.
