Xtra XG is an extension to their docuseries Xtra Xtra. They track a small piece of history in everything they do as part of their creative process, I think to show their own progress. They also post XG Days that's more of a compilation of personal vlogs tracking the girl's individual experience which are clips of them mostly being goofballs and regular people. I think both series are for themselves to keep themselves grounded and have a perspective what they go through because they're whole concept as XG is to be in the moment in their chaotic schedule. These series overlap a lot, one being a straight working documentary and the other being more a video diary during the same time. What they choose to show in their vlogs is incredibly transparent to how they want to remember their time together.
i value that transparency! I think when artists try to convey and protect an image of absolute perfection, it loses me as a fan. I do like extraordinary, but also a little human. Them acting goofy and working at their craft and getting better all the time is right up my alley! ty for sharing

In the world of kpop (err "xpop") there's so much exaggeration and myth making...just a very low information space in general---it just comes with the territory when fandoms are involved. So it's refreshing when a content creator in this space just provides insights and info focused on the MUSIC.

if i can keep it a buck real quick. when i got into music and studied it etc. I felt it RUINED the way i listen to music. I couldn't listen to music in just a pure sense anymore like my friends. I was dissecting things and observing it rather than just enjoying it.
BUT I think now that I have been out the music game for a few years, I'm kind of at a happy balance between being an analyzer and an enjoyer. and at all times tryna stay unbiased hehe.

i wish there was more behind the scenes recordings of their songs... maybe the girls or the producers working with Simon werent the biggest fans of being filmed or something... who knows. I appreciate the behind the scenes music videos but this behind the scenes will always hit different for me
That or they don't want to give away the secret sauce lol. They have so much TB of footage, must be saving it up for more documentary/movies IMO

@@by9thplanet some haters complained that simon is too close and too involved with the girls. because he appears often in their videos and contents…. seriously that’s kinda stupid thing to complain in my opinion. he’s XG’s mentor/manager/executive producer/CEO it’s unavoidable he be seen around XG often 😅
