As a regular viewer of EMAM I just want to say eng'r sahab should not talk about those things in which they r not expert. Iman foundation is expert on secularism, atheism and in comparative religious studies. And they r doing wonderful khidmath on this field , I personally saw many non Muslims and mulhid became Muslims on live

The problem is that you can only mix two terms unless they are opposite of eachother.
Now in the definition of banking there is nothing stated against islam. So it can be mixed with islam to make term islamic banking.
But the problem with Securalism is its the opposite and deniel of relegion by its defintion. So it cant be mixed with islam to make islamic secularism😊. Ismaic secualrism and islamic banking are not equitable. 😅

I’ve always supported Engineer but in this matter Qaiser Ahmed is absolutely right, there is no such thing as “Islamic secularism”. It is either Islamic Caliphate or secularism.

Waheed bhai this is first time I am watching this channel video, and I am so glad there is someone who is saying right things as spectator for Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza. And yes, he should change his stance. This podcast was needed because it made me more clear that from where Qaiser Raja was coming from against Engineer Muhammad, rather him stuck only on the term he had more to tell. So I agree with him, too.
Tbh my heart was aching to reach all of them and be united. And you without the defining the term secularism still made your point clear that we are all on the same page and that we should not be thinking that other party is on the edge and irrationally obstinate to us.

This dude is really confused, we have maximum Arab students enrolled in Pakistan from Jamia Ashrafia to Jamia Rasheed, in every Hanfi, deoband madaaris, and even in tableeghi jamat arabs come almost in every deoband masjid, and they all do rafa yadain as they are mostly hambli, shafi muqalladeens, but I have never seen a single event that anyone ever object the people who don’t do rafa yadain, on the contrary ahle hadees always seen fighting on this rafa yadain issue with other muslims and they always tell others your prayer is not being accepted by Allah, and Mr.Engineer is also doing this.

Pure Democracy is not acceptable in Islam and Western society, it is considered as an evil monster in western society and entire western philosophy stands against pure democracy.
The democracy in application in west is known as liberal-democracy. Prefix is important. Liberal democracy is an outcome of a movement against Monarchy in Europe and Christianity.
Democracy is merely a process: People participate in any process and decision is taken by majority. Pure democracy is not allowed in liberal-democracy because pure democracy can make any decision by majority, even evil and immoral decisions. Liberalism limits pure democracy, it offers morality that restrains majority from taking any decision against liberal values: UN Human Rights declaration enlists all liberal values.
Liberalism is linked to secularism. It says that individual, not God, is the most important and fundamentally valuable entity. Therefore, individual must be the priority of all laws, state, priorities. And individual must not participate in democratic process by being inspired from religion, but their own free-will(nafs). Why? because religion is superstition = fiction = story made up by human beings, and all religions have good and bad elements, and therefore one religion need not be adopted by the state and the individual in activities concerning state and society.
Basically secular-liberal democracy wants all individuals to draw their morality from their free will, not religion. The term by root is against religion. Its principle assumption is that religion is fiction and drama created human beings.
Engr thinks that secularism is freedom for all variable religions, sects to be given a voice. This is not right.
Secularism is a view that states religion is a human made story, and therefore it is not objective but subjective, and since all religion are human-made then state can not take one religion to draw its morality from. Liberalism is a good substitute for religion in liberal-secular democracy where whatever individual heart wishes is good for him and he should make his decisions and choice in democratic processes by listening to their heart, and voluntarily not subscribing to religion in this process. Basically secularism considers an individual a sovereign, where as Islam considers only Allah as sovereign. Secularism is by root against Tauheed, because secularism entitles an individual to dictate laws and morality rather God.
This is a term that by nature is against religion. It is scientifically incorrect to devise a term islamic secularism, christian secularism. Because secularism by default admits there are many religions: buddhism, hinduism, islam, judaism, christianity etc and none is absolutely wrong and therefore no religion is to be adopted, rather any particular religion. The very decision to pick any religion, whether islam or christianity, is anti thesis and opposite to secularism. Only ideologies can sit with secularism: Liberal, Communist, Fascist etc. Religion is contradictory to secularism, both can't coexist.
