@@WigglyJigs1stop it bro. Most of omni-man's strings are punishable. Nobody cares that Omni-man is fast and I'm an Omni-man main. The dudes combos maybe be great but he's not safe on his attacks. Omni-man is a brawler. He's a character that has to be in close range. Tired of people saying "He's great to use, you just have a skill issue" if Omni-man really was that good to use, why isn't star fox or Tekkenmaster using him a lot? Why is Homelander more efficient than Omni-man when Omni-man is actually the more powerful character lore wise? Please don't bring up lasers or because Homelander has more air control.

His Viltrumite stance is punishable if you jump or use Sonya blade.

Ground shake. Punishable.
Ground stomp. Blockable and punishable.
Recovery time from hits - Very poorly without the late wake up call. Once the combo string starts Omni-man can't just get out without a cameo break or fly his way out of you jump at the wrong time.
Omni-man is not invincible..tired of folks using skill issue excuse

@@christianhenry4173 I play a lot of Omni-Man, so trust me, I know the character pretty well too. It’s true that many of his stuff is unsafe, but when I said that the guy kept committing to stuff he shouldn’t, I meant like for example:
Going for the face grab at the end of a string even though the string got blocked.
Using full screen attacks at bad times.
Using his fatal blow raw at a bad time.
Also, you’re making it look like Omni-Man is trash, when he’s not. The strings he should be using are 1-2-1 and 2-2-2. 1-2 is plus on block, 2-2 is an overhead. Both of those strings’ Enders are not only safe, but 0 on block. B1-1 is safe as long as people don’t duck the final hit, and if you see they start anticipating that, then do B1-2 which is safe too. F4-1 string is also safe.
The ground stomp by itself is unsafe, but even on block you can cancel it into the Viltrumite stance, and that starts a mind game. The opponent will most likely wait for you to do the face grab, so you can just cancel it and that way you don’t get punished, or if you think the opponent will mash to punish you, risk it and go for the face grab. If they indeed mashed, you will punish them for trying something.
For his special moves, it’s true that most of them are unsafe or can be made unsafe, but that applies to many characters in the roster, not just him. Characters like for example Mileena also have every special move be unsafe on block.
And for neutral, you’re right in saying he has poor neutral cuz besides the clap, he doesn’t really have a projectile, and all of his full screen options are punishable, but that’s why people recommend using Kung Lao kameo with him, cuz he helps him with his flaws in neutral, as well as give him pressure and mix between Low Hat and 2-2 overhead, or low hat and air BF4, or low hat and DB3-3, or helps him close in with his “teleport” too.
And you mentioned it already, but we can’t just ignore his damage. He has the highest solo meterless damage in the game (and with certain kameos, it can get even more ridiculous).
The Omni-Man in this video kept going for punishable stuff at times he shouldn’t. That’s all I meant initially.
They should just add superman at this point and afterwards goku.
Yeah homelander vs omin doesn't really belong in mk. Looks more like a injustice thing. But I like Omni ngl
I get that but 2 flying and cape wearing superheros fighting each other is not really what people expect from mk. Maybe if they released them in diffrent combat packs it wouldn't feel so weird.

Depends mk isn’t inherently bad by itself but compared to something like SF or T8 it’s “mid” but doesn’t mean it ain’t fun imo
