Bought 2 of these and modded them to take 1500mah batteries. Run for 25 mins now. These are brilliant as I was into nitros and wanted to try battery and for the price these are excellent. Mimics a pro build at a good price point
@@tweefurs just bought 2 x 7.4v 1500mah bats for 20 quid and rc battery connectors to make it compliant. Stock bat is only 500mah. 10 mins roughly that. 3 x mah equates to roughly 2.5 x duration.
Hi which one is best or are they both the same because the gostock is on amazon at the mo for £56 but the vetos which looks exactly the same is £76, thanks?
Great review, I got one for Xmas (I'm 33 so what?!), is there a knack to removing the battery from the car? I'm struggling to remove the connector to upgrade the battery, is it literally just a pull as hard as you can until it comes apart?
Great review! Thinking about getting one to entertain my 2yr old. The vatos 9137r is £84.99 on Amazon right now. Do you think its worth it at that price?
I think its good value for money and really durable as mine has taken a proper beating from my 8 year old. I get nervous everytime he drives it into all sorts but it really takes the impact well and I'd say they are just as fast as the competition for a cheaper price. Think of them as entry level competition rc cars but much better than the expensive models you get from smyths.
What I will say about owning this car and I've bought 2 spare batteries I cannot get the Battery out I've tried everything how does it come out??? Thanks
It's hard to explain and is figity at first. But r battery holder has a handle that you need to turn before removing. Then usually with some manouvrebilty the battery just gets pulled out. If you continue to struggle then send me your email and I'll be happy to send you a quick tutorial.
Cheers guys but I can get the battery out it's the connector that seems to be impossible to get out I've just seen another video of a Guy Filing down the 2 Sides of the connector
Just bought the 9137 for my lad, really like car but the batteries last no time, I've bought a spare set but they're still small capacity. Have you found a higher capacity battery that fits or any spares? I don't think ours will last long without needing a few repairs 😂 great review by the way 👍
I haven't found a higher capacity battery that's compatible, however each battery gives you about 12 to 15 minutes dependant on style of driving. If that's what your getting than that's a typical run time for most entry level rc cars.
@@tweefurs Looks like Absima sells a bigger 800mah battery. That will extend the runtime I guess? www.absima.shop/ABSIMA-SHOP/RC-Cars/Absima-Spare-Parts/1-16-Spirit-X-Truck-Racer-/7-4V-800mAh-Battery-Li-ion.htm?shop=absima_en&SessionId=&a=article&ProdNr=AB30-DJ03&t=16878&c=21129&p=21129
On US amazon parts are easy to order. Just look at manual and all parts are described with codes. You may wait for the spare unfortunately. They are going from china most of the time

Wow really? Was that a straight forward process to do. Do you have a guide to do this at all?

They are pretty much the same car as far as I'm aware, just a preference on body shell shape that will persuade your decision.
@@tweefurs thanks for the reply, much appreciated 👍

Just keep pulling and it will come apart, i was reluctant at first but you'll get there.
Get a small file on it. Also keep giving it a good wiggle. Mine was a bitch to start but ok now.
Where can I find oil filled shocks for this truck?
TIA!
I've not looked into any mods for this, but to be fair i don't know if there much available sorry.
Hi. Good video. Question, is the steering proportional? Throttle, also? Thanks.
Yessir
Good job mate, thanks

Yes the cable provided goes into a usb plug.

I just used a Stanley knife and cut the plastic with brute force. Now I am able to remove the battery easily.

@@BmwManDexter yes those connectors are tough to detach. They loosen up over time though

Can you buy spare parts easy?
Unfortunately not, I've not looked properly as these cars are still in tact. The batteries however were easy to find.

It's only 16 MPH NOT 21 MPH Lol
