Take a look inside the beds. Sleep Number beds has two-way chambers that provide the support system for the mattress with varying foam layers for comfort. Add air to the chambers for increased support and remove air for less support. Air is supportive when using enough pressure to overcome our body weight, not as supportive when we reduce the volume of air in the chambers. This is the challenge isense set out to resolve. Unlike the Sleep Number bed that uses two chambers on either side of the mattress, isense has 580 pocket coils individually wrapped, surrounded by a foam edge support. In addition to the foam rail, there’s fabric laminated from the rail to the spring to provide a really strong structure when sitting on the edge of the mattress. On top of isense’s support system, we use a magical Energex™ open-cell foam that distributes heat away from the body. When the foam warms up it gives more spring, more bounce so you always have support, regardless of the temperature of the foam. Over the surface of the Energex™, there’s a second two-inch layer of Energex™ with both graphite-infused gel and a spray-on cooling feature. The biggest benefit of the isense bed is our comfort control technology located in the center third of the mattress, designed with six air chambers on each side of the bed. Add air to the chambers to compress and firm the foam for a firm setting. Release the air from the chambers for a plush foam setting. Edge support: On the Sleep Number set to a soft 30, see how much it compresses. On the isense bed at a soft setting, see it support your weight. A great demonstration is when you get off the bed. The Sleep Number mattress has an uneven surface set to a soft 30, leaving an impression on the surface of the bed. The isense mattress always goes back to its original shape no matter what setting you sleep on and always looks great.
What other benefits are there? Let’s look at how the core technology performs. Air is quite disruptive. Movement on one part of the Sleep Number bed easily transfers to other parts of the bed. Watch what happens to the bowling ball when we apply pressure to the mattress. Because isense has six chambers on each side nestled into the foam, motion is absorbed by the foam. I like to call the middle of the bed the cuddle zone. When one person's on a firm setting and the other's on a soft setting, it tends to create a ledge in the middle of the Sleep Number bed as demonstrated by the bowling ball. I really like the idea of your mattress, but that fact that I can't find any reviews or even any actual customers interacting with your brand gives me a lot of reservations. Hi after reading your comment and purchasing the isense anyways I found that the bed is fantastic if you like a select number bed number of 65 or greater. the isense bed minimum is 10 mbar which to me feels like 65. the wife and i had developed neck and shoulder pain after about a 5 to 7 days of the trial. we exercised our 100 night guarantee at 55 days and went back to select number purchased the i10 which feels like the texture and material of isense but has a true soft to firm setting. Yes the isense is 1/2 the cost but like i've written if your a 65 or greater sleep number person it's fantastic. Isense customer service is very good and almost instant communication helping you with adjusting setting up questions like getting the sensors to work to extra explanation on how to put the base together but be warned the 100 day guarantee only works for the mattress only and additional stuff you purchase pillows frames furniture is not. no refunds after first 72 hours. chuck or naythan on line messengers are very knowledgeable with quick answers and assistance.
*I replaced a decent mattress **MyseIf.Furniture** with gel topper which (primarily the topper) had been getting softer more frequently. Which is, it was losing its hold I had come to appreciate and I had been rotating far more frequently than usual with the thought of it eventually serving not much purpose.*

Misleading video. Sleep number is the best mattress on the market and does not parts that will fail like the isense. Trust me, we have two sleep numbers, one over 8 years old and will give you the best sleep ever!
Hmmm 3:39 anyone notice the bowling ball impression is the same on the "100" side and the "30" side? Shouldnt the 100 side have. Less of an impression since it's firmer?

it does this as both sides have almost equal firmness. the minimum setting is 10mbar as per isense, with my select comfort bed up stairs that firmness is equal to about 65 on select number scale. I owned the isense bed for 55 nights and returned as it was too firm at 10mbar shoulder and neck pain. if you like a firm mattress this isense bed will be fantastic for you. the 16 year old select number bed is now back down stairs.
Is the return period 180 or 45 days? You say both in the video.
Minimum is 45 days if you don’t want to pay a 25% restocking fee. You have up to 180 days to return it for a full refund. I’m looking into buying a mattress is why I’m commenting.

Are you going to make it so you can adjust shoulder area, not just back area…my shoulders are dying when I sleep
mine was too after 5 to 7 days, very sore. we exercised our 100 day guarantee at 55 days and went with another bed back to what we have had for the last 16 years a N5000 model of sleep number with adjustable base.
It's funny when other companies try to take sleep number down as their marketing campaign. That tells me that sleep number has set the bar and other companies have to fight to reach that bar.
If "The Bar" is my current experience with sleep number, that's pretty awful. They lost my bed and tried to blame me then gave me the run around till they final said it would be 3 months till i got the 10K dollar bed I bought. No thanks sleep number are ASSHOLES!

I have a sleep number and I really dislike that they make you troubleshoot the bed. I have no idea what to expect if something punctures or whatever. I'm trying to pay it off and get something else

I HAD MINE FOR 5 YEARS, ONE FACTORY ONE TIME REPLACEMENT AND THAT WENT BAD THIS MONTH MY SIDE WENT COMPLEATLY FLAT AND THE WIFE SIDE HAS A SLOW LEAK. TOO MUCH MONEY FOR TOO MUCH TROUBLE CAN'T REPLACE, USED MY ONE TIME REPLACEMENT DISPITE BUYING 2 CALF. TWINS JUST FINISHED PAYING OFF LAST YEAR

Buyer beware I purchased a king mattress and a breeze base Sept of 2022 after getting it the base plywood panels are too short thinking they would make it right as of now 11/29/22 the base broken and mattress is on the floor they said about a month there send me a new one but as of now nothing they will not stand behind there product !!!!!

Used the guarantee at day 55 as isense is too firm at it's lowest setting of 10mbar for me. I compare it to sleep number 65. Customer service/ support with isense is great, with no hassles. Chuck and Nathan are very fast to respond and assist

How do they afford to pay the rent, utilities, salaries, and overhead on 579 store locations and a huge advertising budget like that? All while making their executives fabulously wealthy. By selling budget quality products at grossly inflated prices. There are much better and lower priced alternatives available.
Do your research. Sleep number much better, cheaper and has much better warranty.

Hi I too disagree on price but agree with a firm quality built mattress. My issue was isense is too firm at it's lowest setting for me. Iam a sleep number 40 and isense feels like 65 to my shoulders and neck. Exercised the at home grantee at 55 days in. Excellent customer service from isense.went back to sleep number i10 bed. Now thats $$ I had to spend 2x an isense

I had spent over $10,000 for my sleep number bed and it’s been a nightmare from the day It was delivered. This bed really sucks the base jams up constantly almost every night. The mattress is tilting to the left. My wife’s mattress is tilting to the right they come they put straps. It breaks they add more foam the same thing happened. They added a new mattress. The same thing happened. Stay away from sleep number beds. It’s nothing but a glorified mattress. I would buy a regular mattress because for the money I spent on the sleep number every three years I can change a regular mattress and have a new mattress every three years. sleep number is pure garbage stay away.
You should call customer service. The beds a warrantied for 15 years. I’ve had mine for 5 years and it’s the best purchase I’ve made.
