I got mine yesterday (in Liverpool UK) and found this very helpful!! Can't wait to fully use it. I have a campsnap and I feel like this is more like the disposable cameras I used in the past. Thank you!!! 😄
@@TheOtherJamesBrown I bought the Flashback One35 camera and I used it a few days ago for the first time on the 10th October and it was around 6:30pm so it was low light at this time of the year and I was shooting colour, on the Left side of the photos I could see lots of vertical Lines on the low light dark photos, can you see vertical Lines on the Left hand side of the photos which you should take in dim light plus the shutter button does not work by pressing it down half way, presumably because I think the flashback camera is a fixed focus lens, I find the shutter button a bit unresponsive as when you press it right down, it takes around a third of a second after you have pressed in the shutter button for it to actually take the photo, do you find that to be the case.

I haven't noticed the vertical lines in my pics but I wonder if you were in some sort of mixed light (flourescent, tungsten, LED) and the sensor couldn't synch with the light's cycle rate. I agree with your shutter button observations but I consider it a by-product of trying to recreate the old disposable camera. Thanks!
Can you switch between loading films? I always struggle choosing whether I want black & white or coloured film when I load and would love if you could switch between the two on the app instantly? Thanks!
Can the Flashback One35 display a date on the photos, can you please check and can it be done in the following formats of today’s date 20 9 24 and 9 20 24
It can never be the one, because of their app, the 'developing' of the film, and their servers. It's not the wait time. But it's not like our phones don't have the processing power to 'develop' the images that are of lower quality than the phone camera would make. There is no need for the servers, apart from data selling and AI training. I have heard horror stories about this thing you wouldn't believe. 'Rolls' disappearing. 'Rolls' only half-developing. 'Rolls' being developed by SOMEONE ELSE, then the app blocking YOU from developing that roll because of privacy laws. App account problems completely blocking someone from developing anything at all. And what will happen if the company goes under and their servers are shut down? Will you just have a nice fidget toy or a paper weight?
Luckily, I haven't experienced any of the issues that you're describing although I have heard that when the camera originally launched the company had significant issues. It appears, at least in my case, these have mostly been fixed. Time will tell on the future of the company and the functionality of the camera!

That's awesome! Let me know how it goes. I like the photos more and more when they come up on our revolving photo frame.

Have you compared it against the Camp Snap camera? Its another digital disposable camera, but has a micro sd card, no app.
No, I discovered the Camp Snap after the One35. Makes me want to do a shootout between the two and a Contax TVS that I have.

@@abbyconlon2748 Technically you can but you have to offload the current photos and then you can change film stock. An added step but do-able!
@@TheOtherJamesBrown so I wouldn’t have to complete the full 27 photos to able to switch? That would be great!

Wow! Let me check on that. I never thought of having the old timestamp feature. I'll get back to you!
Nice video 👍🏼
Thanks! Let me know any ideas for topics that you may have.
