I could not love this more! As a 70 yr old who gets hit with this stuff weekly, I've finally learned to enjoy playing the "old" card and manipulating them for a change. You go Adler...I appreciate you sharing!
Just happened to me. I am Adler. Although my I started suspecting scam when I saw the warrant. My fdic approved bond kiosk was at Walmart and I knew it was a scam. Had my wife call and verify badge numbers while in transit to Walmart. Once she said they were phony, went to local police department five minutes from there and asked, with him on speaker phone, if I could meet with Lt. Eric Garcia. He got irate and started cursing and me and the cops had a good laugh as I hung up. It’s very real and very scary. Believable until it isn’t. Pretty sure the deputy who called me to be the verification of badge numbers was your main lieutenant and your captain was my lieutenant

I work for major retail company and you won’t believe the number of gift card scams we see on a daily basis. Not only our customers but people who work in our stores! There’s a special place in Hades for these scammers!
You were so smart recording the fools. Hopefully, it will help the police track them down.
Unfortunately, most of the time most agencies don’t have the means to track these scammers
Friday when Chris was walking thru he does a really strange look up at camera while a strange walking- I was going to email him to ask what’s wrong but didn’t want him to think I was dissing him or the show! Everyone who watches on UA-cam knows we called tubers and Adlers the “best”. Thanks for highlighting this!

Same guy called me. I cussed him out so bad after I figured it out.
There was a group of Georgia prison guards and prisoners who pulled this same scam a few years ago. They caught them! They tried to scam my mom. My in-laws also had a scary scammer call them pretending to be their daughter with a voice changer. I think those people are arrested, too. More US people doing this stuff, but many are getting arrested!
This is why i dont answer the phone , i always look the number up online before i ever call it back or answer it. If the law needs you they will show up at your home 100%
Mr. Chris Adler, Even though you are re-telling/reliving the SCUMMY CRIMINAL SCAMMERS, you sound upset, The Lord HIMSELF kept you & your family safe and protected. What you spoke about to us, your listeners, we needed that Reality that you went through AND that you also warned your listeners so that we will be more Careful.

I got a scam call similar to this. Scammer threatened to have me arrested if I didn't do the money thing. I told him to come on and get me. He promptly hung up.

If you own your own home, it's more than likely that anyone who looks up the county assessor will be able to validate your address, due to the nature of it being public information.
Scammers be like we want to let you know that there is a warrant for your arrest because you have not contacted us about your cars extended warranty. All that you have to do is give us all of your money and it will be taken care of.
Thank you for all that you do Adler. You could easily have helped someone else who get these kind of calls from these kind of people.

I got this and wrote pages after filling out the form. Yavapai County az.
They are very in depth with their scam details trying to use intimidating language. Little tales... if it's that Winn Dixie nearest the studio that's in Shelby county but in his "dispatch" of the officers he said Winn Dixie in Jefferson County. Little tales like the cash machine and bit coin also!!
That was scary and could have happened to any one of us.
