Editing is so phenomenal, it keeps the interest in it all along with both visuals and the story. Amazing. The best editing out there. What in television they try to do is too quick, they cut on enjoyment of visuals and make basically one neurotic hoard. This is measured so fantastically , really keeps the attention with a positive vibe and refreshment every moment. And of course, the charm of the main actors and charisma and talent are just very special.
What a nice response to the video Ksenija... I love that you saw beyond the obvious content ... to the production involved in creating a video like this. The guy you met at the end of the video, Dorian... is the genius behind everything you see on my channel. Dorian is a magician honestly! His sense of timing, love for music and how it creates the overall feel... and his ability to tell a good story bring my videos alive! I agree... He's AMAZING! I really give you credit for riding on that motorcycle. The area is so beautiful and the houses you showed are more than I could ever imagine owning. The design is glamorous and sleek. I agree that putting a mirror in that hallway would make a huge impact. If she did it I hope she will show it.
I enjoyed every minute of this! A great celebration of a life well lived and a profession well practiced.

OMG Rebecca!! This video was amazing. Watching all that you did. Surprising the $25,000 winner, to seeing the projects you had done, the guest house you stayed in and the fabulous friend you were with that has the multimillion dollar flip along with the time you had with with your son's & families were all wonderful! . to watch. I was glued to every moment!!!! The give always would be a fabulous idea for 2023!

It was so fun going down memory lane seeing some of your past projects! I have to point out just how wonderful and lovable you are. It’s not every designer that gets her own guest casita or access to the entire house and cars from past clients! You are truly a very special lady to become part of several of your client’s “extended family”!
By the way, I wouldn’t dream of taking my Christmas decorations down until Epiphany (the twelfth day of Christmas)! I mean, the definition of Epiphany says it’s still Christmas! Who am I to argue? And truth be told, depending on when the entire family could arrange schedules to celebrate Christmas together, I have had my decorations up long past Epiphany! We don’t let silly things like arbitrary dates on calendars dictate when we are fully decorated to celebrate the birth of Christ as a family and we like the celebration to be gorgeous! To each their own!
I dream of that La Jolla House staircase and light fixture on a regular basis ever since I saw that renovation video. Staircase goals!

...and exhale. Ok, so this is an incredible look at your jam-packed trip. But, first I must say this...I am always drawn to any story you are telling, but for the first time ever of the 100's of video stories I have seen here or on the Design Sessions, I could not focus! My eye kept going to the spot above the fireplace! I was like, "what?" The is NOT a Rebecca thing...ever! You have taught us so well, it stood out. I loved seeing first hand that design decisions do make a difference. What a great moment. This trip was so you, full on, non stop work and fun. I choked on my water when Sharrah said who is that, about Ed McMahon, I am with you in the club of being fully aware of his place in history. Loved seeing the beloved Beach House. Thank you again Rebecca for all your hard work, in front, and behind the camera, you are the hardest working gal! I think it's fabulous to have multiple winners for the Home Design giveaways, spread that love, make more families happy, get more spaces beautiful and, we get the reveals! xo

I've decided to take this next year and be even more transparent with you guys. S#%t happens to all of us. Yes, I try always to put my best foot forward but a perfect house and flawless makeup and lashes just isn't reality! So, if I can look so bad... as I often do... them pull out all the stops to look fab... and if my house can look like everyone else's from time to time... but out of this world on good days... Why not show that! So... yep, its me... Becky from the block... giving it her best when she can! The point is... We can all do better... but not all the time... but definitely when it matters :-) RR
What a fabulous whirlwind but totally fun trip! You certainly made the most of your time and I loved coming along for the ride and revisiting some of the familiar spots that that you have taken us to in the past. The highlight of course was meeting the lucky $25,000 dollar winner and her husband who were such lovely people. This was a real feel good video with some of the familiar spots and some new ones too!
We leave for Florida in early January, so Christmas came down in early January. We took a 10,300 mile road trip this fall, went through Tulsa. It took 2 months, in and out of hotels almost every night.

It was my husband’s bucket list trip, drive route66 from end to end. We took in a lot of national parks and other sites since we were out there. Oh and a Notre Dame football game in Los Vegas, out longest stay.

I love to keep winter decorations up till mid February then I take them down I enjoy my decorations so I keep them up for a while.
Dear Rebecca, wonderful as always. Yes, the tree is still up, although with only twinkle lights on. All evidence of Christmas put away. I have winter decor. Hugs💞

you are the most talented woman on the planet, so motivated, giving, loving. It is no wonder you are liked where ever you go. I live in Sydney NSW I would love to do you design course however the trouble is I have now retired from work and I only have a very ordinary house. I don't have the money now to change things, I am not complaining. I just want you to know that when I watch you on UA-cam I just love it. What you are doing now with including your family and the past homes you have done just explains why you are so successful. You are my inspiration lady. Keep going as I love all that you do.
Oh and as you asked about taking down the Christmas decor, well I started taking it down on the 4/01/23 and that evening the police knocked on my door and asked if they could come in. The place was a mess and I was apologetic. Then they informed me that my 2nd eldest 41yo son Stephen had died. To say it was a shock is an understatement.
Anyway over the next few days family all came over, and of course the house was still a mess, Christmas tree in pieces all over the floor, decorations everywhere, I was so embarrassed. I finally got it all down and is some order, not quite the way I had planned as my priorities had changed focus as you can understand.
Loving this video. Thank you for taking us around. Hope you do another giveaway. I had already spent the money in my head. 😂 I’m still and always a Design Sessions member. Maybe next time 😊
I know you aren't a soffit fan, but I have beautiful real cherry cabinets so decorate above. My Christmas Village goes up there until we call it a Snow Village to extend the amount of time it can stay. This does force me to clean up there, and for a time to have nothing up to feel lighter in the spring.

I like how she sat on a throw blanket . I am thinking its to prevent her jeans from transferring dye on her chair. Let me know if I am correct. I had my jeans transfer on my chair. Therefore, It came to mind. What a great video !

They said they did it for tax purposes, not because they dislike California. The corporate taxes were making it too difficult to be profitable. That’s a fair reason, I think.
