@@meh-canics9628 that does seem plausible thank you for the response. Do you think the air will work itself out or should I crack a line and bleed it out?
Thank you for posting this video! I have a 624k with the same problem that I need to resolve. However, I have two questions: (1) why didn't you take the old pedals and try to clean/lube them up? I figure mine has some build up of rust and dirt. (2) Have you ever done this for the throttle Pedal (Both my brake pedals and throttle pedal are sticking)?
This was done through my work, so it's faster to just swap them out, less down time. You would have to get the plastic bushings out and match them up with something, or replace them with brass bushings. Once the plastic ones are chewed up from rust and dirt, it's hard to make them smooth again. I would imagine the throttle will be similar
As long as the plastic bushings are not shot I've had good luck with soaking them in atf for a few days, this is usually done during winter when the machines are not running. But it's a cost thing at the end of the day
Awesome video. Helped a lot Sir. Question have you ever had the pedal pulsating when applied after reassembled?
Not that I noticed, it's most likely air pockets
