I can't believe how amazing the commercial battery edger is. Absolutely mind blowing. Been using gas stihl for 20 years
I got the fsa 90 the battery drains quick but the edger saves me from edging with the weedeater like I used to do
What battery are you using?
@@douglaslawncare2843 I got 2 of the ap300. I've found a couple nice spots to charge at customers houses lmao 🤣
I think a 3rd battery I would be golden lol
I think that if this battery works out, I would definitely consider building a charging station in your trailer with panels on your roof. Looking forward to hearing how this works out!
They actually sell panels for this unit. I am really considering it!
I just charged two batteries last night. It used 18% charge per batterie. I did the math and it’s $100 more to do it this way than to just buy the extra batteries. That being said if I get the solar chargers it would be worth it in the long run! Also doing it this way I can use it for tons of different things where as I can only use the Stihl batteries for Stihl equipment. Plus this way I don’t have a million batteries laying around!
Good work 🍻
👍🏻
It's amazing to me how far battery has come I'm running a couple of Greenworks products now with my gas and on some things I'm never going back to gas on. Ex. Pole Hedge trimmer 💯✔️💪🏽
I really think in a year or two I will be driving a battery powered truck. It just makes too much sense!
@@douglaslawncare2843 Totally 💯
Go for the AP500s and an AL500 rapid charger. The battery has a 25-30% longer run time than the 300s.
I will buy some when they come out!
@@douglaslawncare2843 when will they be released in the USA ?
@@birdguy4321 not sure. All I know is that my dealer doesn’t have them.
Same way as you brother. I think this is the only way to go when you go battery!
Definitely keep us updated on the bluetti i may look into some kind of battery generator. I run milwaukee lawn products in my business

@@douglaslawncare2843 thank you so much for this info! with all my tools i have 16 batterys haha so im unloading a bunch everyday haha
For what it’s worth my Stihl batteries were drawing 432 watts from the Bluetti. Not sure how much you’re Milwaukee batteries draw.
Douglas, I have all the stihl's 135 series. and have investigated all the power stations for recharging in the field. The four port charger is out and will only charge 1 battery at a time. This is the same as as the AL300 just in a convenient package and just a little cheaper then buying 4 AL300 @$349. The AL300 requires 300w. to charge the AP300s is 45 min so 2 will take 1 1/2 hours and 4@ 3 hours. So charging 4 batteries we know will take 3. 300 watts per wh charging x 3= 900wh used on the power station so the bluetti can charge 8 AP 300s with 200wh to spare. So buying 6 AP300s @$250 per is $1,500 or the power station for $1600. As you said you will have other purposes for your home, camping and whatnot. But, having a 2000wh battery charging other batteries never makes since to me. Does not matter if you charge the power station at home or use the solar it still will take time 4/6 hours to charge it. So for me it's a wash unless you have many other uses. The Stihl AR3000 backpack battery gives you 190 min of run time for the FSA135R @$1,020. But, it's on your back!! Keep up the vids, iv had my FSA135R now for 7 months and will also do my review as well. I'm in Florida so I use mine year round .
You are correct in all your statements. I have figured it’s about $100 more to do it this way. Although now I have something I can use for multiple uses. I’m thinking about putting a microwave in the trailer and plugging it into the unit for lunches. 🤣
ok - so that AP500 was 30% longer than the AP300S, not 30x longer. And its double the price. It might be worth it if you're carrying them in a long way or carrying a few batteries though.
Has far as I can see this Blwetti cost an arm and a leg.
It is expensive. But, it’s actually very close to the same price as buying a bunch of batteries. I bought it a couple of years ago and the price has went up on it a little bit.
Just get the video over with Jesus Christ, 13 mins wasted
Your the guy that continued to watch. Seems more like a you problem than anything.
