So in this video I will show you how to make the easiest trap base in RUST. This is by far the easiest and most effective way to trap people in Rust and by using only 2 components, the door controller and pressure pad, it makes it fun too.
The simple ways are usually the most effective and you cant get much simpler than this beginner to electric circuits trap base design.
Put the door controller next to the door you want to be automated and put the pressure pad on the floor outside, you can even use lasers if you want to or even the HBHF sensor. Once someone steps on the pressure pad, the electricity will flow through to the door controller, opening it and exposing them to whatever is on the inside.
I would recommend shot gun traps, this is what I use in this simple trap base design video. If you're a little more advanced, use auto turrets. I have lots of videos on trap base designs, some more complicated than others. Go check them out.

Love your videos learning power on ps5. Easy to follow along and to the point
Nice thing is the pressure pad controls the door without a power source. It pushes 1 unit to the door controller for a second. Just enough time for the shotgun traps to do their work. Lol. 💥

@@AniCodYT 2 weeks later and thanks to your videos I've been building 2 turbine 2 battery energy recycler circuits that power 18-19 turrets haha. Would love to see you post a video on an advanced circuit that uses 3 branches, memory feel and xor switch/ switches to swap circuit power between turbine and generator.

Now from this make more about going from here bro..... like this is the basic opening when the pad is triggered but to us noobs build around this idea lol. using blocker, timer etc to make it better. So i.e a door closes once that one is triggered from behind and other cool ideas. Thanks :)

i mean its not the controlling the door that's hard its turning it into a cheap good trap when you have no bp and that doesnt look conspicuous. i thought pressure pads didnt require electricity? sure ill just grab a dev generator on my wipe hahaha and ask people to just step on a random pressure pad hahahahaha great tutorial
It doesn't but if you want to power anything from the door controller, you need power in to use it as a pass through. They need to make pressure pads harder to see. They're way to obvious
