There are a small number of superb neighbourhoods in Preston that are either off the beaten path or, right in your face and you don't notice it. I live in the latter. People go out of their way to drive through it because it is so nice with every house custom built and different. All the main windows of my house look over the greenery with nary a house in sight! I'm not going to tell you where these are, you need to drive around and find them yourself. Another method is to study the blow-ups of google maps. Hint: Follow the two river's shore lines and park edges. Personally I am not a friend of neighbourhoods where you look into your neighbours bedroom or bathroom from your windows.
Thanks for your input. It is a rare find these days especially with newer homes which are build literally 3ft apart from each other. That is one of the many reasons I find my of my clients prefer older construction over brand new homes these days. P.S I think I know which part you are referring to here but will surely check them out more closely the next time I am in the area.
Yeah, pockets around Conestoga you will find a good amount of student population. Northern part of Cambridge and Blair area would be my top picks. Perfect for families.
It's not bad but there are better neighborhoods in Cambridge. Southwood is good. West galt is not bad either if you prefer southern end of Cambridge. On the north end, Hespeler and Silver heights are also great options. Preston will give you some bargain real estate though.
Depends on what part of the neighborhood you are in. There is quite a bit of new development on one end of the hood. I would stick to that patch if it has to be little corner. I just did a tour of a model home in this neighborhood for an upcoming townhome community on my channel. Which part are you considering?
@@livinginkitchenerontario thank you! Other than fiddlesticks and hespeler are there any other areas that are as good and safe for families with children
@@Browsinginb You are welcome! You can explore Southwood and West Galt on the southern end. There is also a whole new master planned community being developed along the blair road area. Are you looking for a specific type of property? i.e. Townhome, Detached?
