Folk traditions knock me down fans, they still sound like. . .human civilization is already born again from it's ashes and is this kind of heavenly delight, you are suuuuper wow guys
Yes, I listen and relisten. I must've listened to Kitchen Stories 100 times, and have shared with all my friends. Carry on! Also, I have the Woodworks CD by the DSQ and hope for a new release sometime!
@@luischirinogalvez6006 Cool! Are they based on clog-shoes as well? This clog-fiddle is actually a clog-viola, so I tune it CGDA. But the vast majority of clog-fiddles are smaller in size and are tuned like a violin although many are tuned higher in pitch, sometimes as high as BbFCG.
The bouncy second tune is available online: www.folktunefinder.com/tunes/176435. Folkrotsvalsen isn't, but the melody is fairly straightforward, at least on a violin: it starts in C, then G when Rune takes over. Rune's backing part on the violin is marvelous, but I don't think it's what's on the album; and to me, Nikolaj looks like he's focusing very hard to keep the beat amongst all the syncopation. =)

Okay, what's the little shoe fiddle? I've never seen that! Played like a nykelharpa but no keys
That, my friend, is the clog-fiddle, or "träskofiol" in Swedish. Also known as the national instrument of the Swedish region of Skåne :-)
@@dreamerscircus hi there I have some rabels (rebecs) that looks alike how do you tune your clog-fiddle?
